I've said this before, but by tagging the courses on Twitter, you are asking for trouble. You can't be surprised if they get censored when you advertise that you're breaking ToS directly to the people who are most likely to take exception to it.

Played Fleetwood GC 1893 yesterday with a friend. Set course conditions on all moderate and the rest default. Course plays superb and looks terrific. Play without aids/grids so greens are sneaky but 100% true. Did run in some trouble on the greens but thats just me ofcourse LOL! Will return to play all default ofcourse. Another great course on the list! Will (re)visit all the other ones on the way. Thx again Dave!

No worries plenty more to come in the next few weeks/months and some new ones as well. One thing i have really noticed in 2k23 to 2k21 again the design of the game suits links greens and conditions well i feel, but they have seemed to have lowered the camera position in 2k23 so you see less Off the course than you used to which is a real shame at fleetwood because everything in the design was off the course, but it's a good learning tool for future designs.

yeltzman Are you able to get Lidar of St. Patricks Rosapenna, the new course recently built by Tom Doak? It just opened a year or two ago and I have heard nothing but great things about it...

FYI I played your version of Royal Portrush and it was amazing as always. Those fairways in high winds are some of the most challenging to keep in play, great fun

There is no proper Lidar for Ireland so i gather i only use the English site because it's so easy to use. Real shame because really some of the best links courses in the world in Ireland. To be Honest how the designer is in 2k23 i would say it would be best to design it the old way without lidar but the down side how long it takes to lay out the course that way to do it proper.
Thankyou for your kind words.

Shame about the lidar, agree with the quality courses in Ireland. I don't think there is enough info about St. Patricks yet to make an accurate version terrain wise.
Your Portrush wasn't lidar?

Not Lidar but if you add the hours up designing it and adding the GPS from the players guide and google earth took along time adding it all to the original version from 2019.i would say most players would not notice the difference from 2019 version in 2k21 but in the end it's the opposite for me in 2k23 have to release some courses on xbox so i can play them on PC where it was vice-versa in 2k21.Saying that i only really play 4 courses Prestwick,RSG,Lytham and the open150 Example below the 14th.

Hopefully sometime in 2023 Hillside ,Birkdale ,Wallasey and i know my old version of formby is in the game but there have been around 5-6 changes to certain holes there so all 4 courses are going to be more re-designs so a fair bit of work involved.

Played two rounds on The Grove Hotel w/ friends. Another bulls eye! Played the second one with rain conditions in morning time. Softened course up too but left the default stimp. It was just a great experience in that 'typical English weather' LOL. Course was darker ofcourse but still played true. There's nothing better then 'playing a Yeltzman' in the morning! Keep 'm coming Dave! (Formby is one of my old favorites so will be looking out for an updated one in the future!).

Hi, can I ask, is Alwoodley Golf Club on your potential horizon? I loved Ganton and Alwoodley is equally as special. Alwoodley is regarded as one of Britain’s finest inland courses. It was designed by the great Dr Alister MacKenzie. However, Alwoodley was the first course he designed and is therefore known as the Original MacKenzie.

So i gather the 13th at Augusta was based on the 10th at Alwoodley GC,in 2k21 there was a design done by a designer but the Lidar was not the best to match the course,i did import a Plot and designed a few holes but to be honest it would need many months on it to make it to a decent standard really its all about the data you have got. 10th,11th below.

Thanks for the reply, totally understand that with poor data you get poor results (or a bag full of work). Loved The Grove and Hesketh layouts. Keep up the great work...I'm a convert to RCRs!
