St Annes Old Links 24 (L)

Final Open Qualifying venue from 2018 to 2022 before the R&A moved it Does not reach the required 7000 Yards for R&A Events now i left in My black Tees for the 7000 yard Distance but the other 4 sets of tees are there.

And the most famous hole there It is said Bobby Jones used the 9th green as a Template for the 7th at Augusta.

10 Years Since i released my first course in TGC1 Been a Great Hobby Since,32 Different Courses made it into 2k23 a couple made it all the way but most in the last 5 years of Lidar.

Global Golf League and it's 700 members on xbox will be having "Yeltzman Week" on October 11th to 17th.. we'll play Fleetwood, Grove Hotel, Hazeltine, Muirfield, Loch Lomond, and then the newest release St. Annes Old as the 2round major. I tried to schedule ones I hadn't scheduled as much before.

Thanks for all the great work in this game, it's certainly been helpful as someone running multiple large societies with mostly real world course choices!

What a lovely Choice of Courses all slightly different if its on xbox ill play along that week.Hope some players enjoy them, Fleetwood one of my favourites reminds me a little of St Annes old Links,A links Course which is very flat but with great towns enjoy the emersion of them.

Had this course file for a while just been waiting for the recent course changes at Saunton (east) lidar hopefully won't be too long now till i get a updated version in game.2 courses there some really nice Lidar views there in the right lighting.

Global Golf League and it's 700 members on xbox will be having "Yeltzman Week"

Toughest i have played Muirfield for a while that today, played awful but for the first time birdied the par 3s 4th and 16th on the sunday pins HCP 1 and 2 holes but the rest of it 5 over, Controller was all over the place today on xbox but still Having great fun this week.

I managed a 66 but it wasn't easy for sure, those greens are not easy with 23mph wind in your face ...

Glad you're enjoying the week! I'm sure we'll have another in a few months, there's no shortage of courses for sure!

Nice one Yeltz, looking forward to playing your versions of Saunton. I got blown off the West Course many years ago (tail end of a hurricane hitting the SW of UK) and we were called by the camp site we were heading to in Polzeath to say don't come because we've had 2 tents blow off the cliff already🤣 I did get to play them both a few years ago with the Keith Baxter (then the editor of the Top 100 Golf Courses website)...fun courses!

You are one of my original inspirations for creating RCR's (I currently have 5 new UK and Ireland ones, 1 USA and 1 French, and 3 2K21 revamps in the works😀) so please keep up the good work!

Well when i started in the first game 10 years ago, There wasn't the choice of  UK courses i enjoyed so i started designing, I would prefer just to play and since Lidar more RCR's are being made. I just wish and its the same with the saunton what's in game now whoever did the OpenStreetMap thing it's just way off in so many places and it's the same with so many others, But Hopefully it will get better Still waiting for data for Royal Aberdeen,musselbourgh and Carnoustie just 3 left i want to design left but it seems the scottish and UK site no new data for a couple of years now.

With Saunton i might take a look at the West Course and release them both  together not even looked at the layout yet,just the OSM stuff all needs ripping out.

Been a little tricky doing 36 Holes of lidar at Saunton,Cannot beat an old fashioned layout another 4 greens close together all in one screenshot and some awesome Lidar data on the west course. 4th,6th,15th Foreground and 16th.

I have an old course file for Lundin Golf Club,it going through some changes so its out of date its just a layout no where near finished.
