when you look at the Lidar from Burnham and Berrow i know its take up a lot of the meter in 2k23 on links courses but what an advantage to have to use, Lets hope it never goes away. Lovely to play along to as well online to compare the putts and stuff, should be in 2k23 in a day or two. Just a shame its only 7000 yards but fun to play on higher levels of play.   Western Gailes was 3100 yards from the 5th tee to the 14th tee,Old course was just over 2500 from the 1st to the 8th tee....Burnham in between them both from the 1st to the 10th all classic in and out courses  |

  Looking forward to playing it Dave. I loved this when I played it IRL (pre changes). I started doing a version of this a couple of years ago and planned to do a large plot with the 9 hole Channel course as well (and some of the town...I even got as far as marking the lighthouse in the town on OSM) but other courses led me astray! I really hope that in the next iteration of the game HB give us an option to play with really cut back, basic, average club golfer attributes and clubs so that all these wonderful classic courses can be played as they would be by average Joe. Maybe even a set of hickories that actually behave like them.... |

It's Been a Good run but it seems the 150thOpen championship(L) has been removed from my course folder and course search. Just a Head's up.

No idea i did send an email to St Andrews Brand protection when i released it in 2k21 and heard nothing back so that was good enough for me, It's still in 2k21 so either there is a problem for 2k23 or let's hope 2k will use the terrain and put pot bunkers on it for 2k25,it was on the server for nearly 60 weeks.
Like all other removed courses if you got it saved somewhere in my played or favourites can still be played,just not found on a search.

That's a shame, it was the best version hands down, loved playing the actual pin locations from the Open that year.
I think one can also find it in a course list in a society in game and then favorite it from there. I did this with Augusta awhile back when it called Firethorn.
Do you know of any societies who scheduled this?

I thought you were talking about Troon but i misread your comment. Ok, so Troon is all good for 2024 then. Still a bummer for St Andrews.

Dave I’ve just published Seaton Carew Brabazon 23 on this game, I first created this on the 2K21 game and the course has gone through some changes last year but I’ve not updated the course with them. I’m working on a laptop and it’s not the greatest thing for designing on. Seaton is the 10th oldest course in England established in 1874 i think. I just wondered if you would be interested in me passing the file along to you if you wanted to do something with it.
