Nestled in the sandhills of North Carolina is Pinelake Preserve. What used to be an exclusive hunting club has reopened and rebranded as a destination golf course. The course winds through the dense pine forest and will challenge you off the tee mostly.

Really enjoyed this one. You had interesting ways to tighten landing areas without making it forced or taking driver out of hand. Realy liked the greens and internal slopes that made me think about how aggressive I wanted to be on my approaches.

Really lovely environment and great routing. The planting was nicely done and very natural. After getting into all sorts of trouble on the first, things settled down a little and I finished OK.

Loved the routing, and as an NC native and resident, the vibe is spot on. I did get some Dormie vibes, though much more water is in play at PLP. Really enjoyed playing it.

Realy liked the greens and internal slopes that made me think about how aggressive I wanted to be on my approaches. I wanted to always give you the option of driver, even if it was a bad idea. Tried to be creative with slopes, fairway angles, trees, and bunkers to do that. Worked hard on the greens to make them interesting and exciting. Play the course from the short tees with a South wind if you haven't yet. I think it's the most entertaining set up.

Finally ported this to 2K23 as well. No changes to the original design.
