A LiDAR course uses actual laser measured data available online to build courses that actually exist in reality, or to use actual topography as a base for a course design.

To design a LiDAR course, you need a PC, and you need to build the course first in TGC 2019. You also need a program called "Chad's Tool", believe...full disclosure, I design on PS4, and have never done any courses on PC.

There are tutorials out there that teach you how to do LiDAR courses...I have no idea which ones are the most helpful. But this is one of the first that show up on YouTube:
