Nice looking woody plot

With a lovely range to warm up on
i.imgur.com/1nUvaDD.jpg although I'm not sure I'd chance playing tennis if anyone is on the range.
A beast of an opening hole, but a nice opening tee shot to a decent width fairway. I had to hit 4H in so I'm glad it wasn't directly into a headwind.
Hmmm, standing on the second tee box I think the entire state of Vermont will fit on the putting surface. Is it really over 100 yards wide and deep?
Then the third is a postage stamp with no run off left and right.
I think the 4th green has it's pin on an orange surface.
The 5th is a very tight driving hole with trees very close to the fairway. The 5th pin is close to orange as well.
The 6th is another massive long green that I purposely hit short to see how far away the front of the green would be. I was about 35 feet from the front of the green with a 95 foot putt to the hole.
Tough pin to get to on 7. Not sure the pin in the middle of the 8th fairway blocking the approach works.
Very tight drive on 9.
Just wondering why the 10th fairway is split? If you're into a headwind you won't make it, so forced to layup.
The 11th is a repeat except the trees also block the tee shot. I did force a big drive over. If you are forced to layup the playable green surface is tiny so I can't imagine hitting the green, let alone staying on it with a long iron in. It's only 18 x 8 yards of playable surface.
The 13th has an orange pin.
I was lucky enough on 14 to be able to play a driver/driver combination otherwise I would be forced to layup and hit wedge to the waters edge
I think the greenskeeper needs to lob off that branch overhanging the 18th tee shot. A book end monster hole to finish off the round.
So I'd look at the scale of greens and give the players a little more bailout areas around the green. Publishing at 187 doesn't give you anywhere else to go but slower.
Certainly a great challenge either way!
