Based on pre-orders at Amazon, it's Oct 11 for the Deluxe edition ($99) and then Oct 14 for the Standard Edition ($69).
There aren't a lot of back-of-the-box improvements such as new game modes or anything (we get Top Golf, yay), so hopefully they've done a bang-up job at making everything they have in 2K21 better. There was so much room for improvement.

Oh...a "Casual Mode".
I expect that will go over well here...haha
I am intrigued by the "customizable objects" in the course designer, though.

Yeah, next week will be the tell tale sign of what's changed etc.

Let's be fair here...anyone in these forums is buying the game. The question is whether this will appeal to the Public on the whole and having Tiger, more courses and fun game modes will likely appeal. It also helps this game comes out prior to the holidays and EA's game

It also helps this game comes out prior to the holidays and EA's game I'm on here and atm, I am not a certainty to buy it based off that info, especially if TGCT stays easy mode. TGCT is not the incentive for me to buy the game although for a large majority of peeps here, it is. I shall be waiting to see what's on offer in the product and if I approve, I'll buy. If I'm on the fence, I'll hold off for the sales and may even wait til Spring 2023 😉😆

I mean, the description isn't really selling it for me. Sounds like the same old same old again but with playable pros. I hope I'm wrong. Same old is good, hopefully with improved societies, designer and single player mode. Also why do we never have more than 1 player seasons since Tiger Woods 2004. In TW 2004 you could actually customise your season with course designer courses up to 4 local players. Imagine another sports franchise where you are limited to solo play rather than local and online multiplayer seasons.

Yes, but the info they provided specifically calls out the following..."test your skills against your friends in Divot Derby and Casual mode." There isn't a dedicated "Casual mode" in 2K21. This makes it sound like 2K23 will have a separate game mode devoted to playing the game "casually". I am just curious what that means, and I also know that any way of making the game more "casual" usually goes over like a lead balloon in these parts.

This game is really casual on lower settings and all the aids on. That's probably all it means. Super easy mode with swing meter, vibration assist ,putt previews. That stupid option where you can't overswing the club when you set your intent, probably no swing timing also. Rounds of 20 under for the casuals, so they can feel like they are superior to any real life pro. 😉

Anyone that was hoping for online competitive play like the TW games years ago is about to be very disappointed, who wants a top golf competitive mode...no one

Looks like an Oct 14th release date from the Amazon preorder: Info from the description: Take your skills on the PGA TOUR and become the next FedExCup Champion as you compete against TOUR pros and establish new rivalries. For the first time, play as male and female pros including Tiger Woods, in online and local play. Also features licensed courses such as East Lake Golf Club, TPC Sawgrass, TPC Scottsdale, and more. Create your own dream course with the Course Designer, which features thousands of customizable objects and cross-platform sharing. Introducing Topgolf with competitive 1-4 player local and online play, bringing the range’s excitement and fun to both casual and seasoned players. Plus, run your own online societies to manage tournaments and seasons or test your skills against your friends in Divot Derby and Casual mode. I think Amazon jumped the gun with this announcement. Expect it to disappear from view shortly, if it hasn't already gone.

Should we read anything into that Amazon picture showing Xbox One (instead of Xbox Series S/X) and PS5?
