This time we are off to Tor by Q, his entry into the rookie contest is a fun one with plenty of challenge since every green is surrounded by at least 20-30 yards of green fringe (which, in case you didn't already know, plays much differently than fairway or green). Should make for plenty of run up to pins by good shots, and run off by errant shots. Lots of ground game in play I'd expect. Definitely going to need to go into this one thinking links-ish golf. Get the ball on the ground, use the slopes to your advantage, survive the other slopes that are flat out rude. Good luck everyone!

-6 first round, definitely a bit of an adventure this one. Didn't go too bad tee to green, but too many putts fell a roll short or burned the edge. Hopefully go better second round.

Tor is anonymous, and I wish for my score to remain that way. It was so small, it was almost invisible. Voodoo is broken, sorry jwtexan

-10 second round. I'll see what the cut is before I play any more rounds I think. Fun course but sometimes it's difficult to see the rough in those dawn/dusk conditions.

Found the course ok, felt it was a bit gimmicky, like courses used to be made for 1st game to try and cut high scoring, absolutely hated the lighting in rds 1&2, if my score somehow squeeks in (which I doubt) I hope its brighter for the weekend. Played ok, tempo is up the spout for some reason, keep receiving an ruddy HB error code after nearly every other hole, but apart from 1 bogey in rd2 (customary, as you all know) left maybe a few out there over the course of 36H's but im not complaining. -16 after 36H's will wait and see. The Chef whats on the menu? actually you better cook for 2 as twofor22 maybe joining me in the missed cut, sorry greenkeepers hut. Good Luck all, play well.

If the weather holds. I’ll break out the smoker bbq on the 18th Break it out I call the burnt ends. Sorry folks for the lighting, basically works as a gamma level check for your monitor. Was in a bit of a rock and a hard place with this one, brighter lighting hid too much of the slopes making it harder to predict landing zones so I ultimately went for the darker lighting as the lesser of two evils. Kinda wanted to design a quirky irish links course here that defended itself without length or hazards while Ive been working on an even bumpier real course recreation that does the same!

I honestly thought HB/2K put out a patch to give the topography around the greens. LOL This makes much more sense, of course. Anyways, have a -16 score after two with 2 or so hours to go and sweating the cut at t61st.

Yep and I managed a -11 third round to move up the leaderboard a bit. Nice to make a cut after missing the last two, but I probably wasn't expecting to on this course. Probably finish it off tomorrow, still got the last two tst rounds to go as well.

Q don't know what the difference was between rds 1&2 to rds 3&4 but with the sun out i could actually make out the fairway and with that i began to appreciate the course much more, my initial thoughts of it feeling a bit gimmicky subsided and I think it is absolutely fantastic to play. Kudos for creating it.

Cheers mate. I'm off to play the third round of tst now. Got your ghost in my group as well. I'm pretty tired so I'll probably play like crap but I have to get these rounds done by lunch tomorrow 🤣
