Hey All- When I try and load the game, it will not let me maximize the game, I only get the below portion. I've tried, uninstall, reinstall game, ALT + enter, CTRL + double click on desktop icon. Any other possible solutions? The game is loading, I can hear the introduction music. I know in 2019 game you hit CTRL + double click to change resolution, I just tried it. Thanks Edit: Golf Club 2019 loads fine, so my guess it has to do with 2k21 version, but I cannot force screen resolution on the game.

schmiff Thanks for the reply. I saw that thread, but it only seems to work in the 2019 game. (Ctrl + double click) is what I used. The issue does seem to be with the game and not hardware. May need an explanation on the .exe method you mentioned.

Not sure if it's possible without some serious knowledge to be honest. Assuming you're using Steam you could try fiddling with the launch options there (right click the game in Steam and choose Properties and you can enter some custom parameters, details here: help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/7D01-D2DD-D75E-2955Failing that if you try reinstalling again at any point make sure that all config files etc are deleted after uninstalling and before reinstalling (i.e. manually delete the entire PGA 2K21 folder if it's still there).

I tried everything that I knew that I could do to get this fixed and I've been working on/with computers for 17+ years and worked with and did every suggestion that HB/2k21 suggested in the many back and forth emails. Deleted game files and let the game redo them, that didn't work. I could setup a 2nd user account on the same computer and the game loaded fine, I could install on another computer and it worked fine ... so I finally bit the bullet and just reinstalled Win 10. It's happened twice and no one has a clue what causes it.

BaconJunkie1 tell me more about 2nd user account, I'm not sure what you mean by that and how to setup. Thanks for the reply!

Go into Win10s settings>Accounts>Family and other users>Add a family member or other users. When you get done, you'll have to log out of your account and resign back into Win10 as the 2nd account/other user.

BaconJunkie1 So the fact that creating a 2nd user and the game loads fine, would lead one to believe that this a windows registry problem would be my best guess. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure and I'm not sure what to look for in there, they name things differently than what you and I would think they would be named. I can tell you that I did uninstall the game, got rid of the files left behind and then re-installed and that did not fix it. You might try that, and while the game is uninstalled, run a registry cleaner program to get rid of unused things left behind and then re-install.

BaconJunkie1 schmiff I figured it out!! Since I couldn't maximize the game from the windows screen, I found a article on the web, that let's you maximize from the Task Manager. Open the game, go to Task Manager, Right click on game, Click on Expand, Right click on game, click Maximize. BAM! Thanks for all the input! Only took my 5 days to figure it out and about 10 uninstalls and re-installs of various programs and operating systems.
