Cheers Wes. Big thanks to you and Andre for running it and to all the other judges for giving up their time. Apologies for not making the stream but a quick shoutout to patlouvar for taking out 2nd. I've only played it the once (so far) but I recall thinking it looked and played crazy good. The biggest compliment I could give was that I thought the sightlines looked as good as what Ben created with Strathlorne. Just really well executed. Congrats also to the other guys in the top 10 and to Figz for 3rd place. I rangered Cowboy Heaven and loved it as well. Bring on the new game....... we desperately need it. Cheers bud! Well deserved. |

This was awesome! Just gotta say I was happy to be involved as an alt and finally get my toes wet in the TGC society. This was a great contest with some incredible courses designed as well. Can’t thank the judges and everyone involved enough. A top 10 finish was not what I was expecting after publishing. Also, gonna pump some more tires here, wouldn’t be designing if it weren’t for Canuck, just like the vast majority of us. And without Canuck I would’ve never found b101 design who highlights great designers and provides inspiration for me and several others. Another thank you to Wayne for playing all of our courses day after day. Another guy that only helps us improve as designers. Congrats to Heisenberg on taking home the W. Extremely good course. Also, congrats to Pat and Figgz on 2 and 3. Can’t wait for 2k23!

Congratulations, Heisenberg. Your course was definitely gonna be a contender and I can't wait to see what you bring to the next game. Thought the contest win was gonna happen at some point. It was an honour to compete with all of you guys and there were tons of awesome courses that came out of the contest. No shame in not making it to the top 10 for me - congrats all! Special shoutouts to Crazycanuck1985 and jwtexan for putting on a great contest and for using my little graphics in the reveal shows hehe. Also thanks to the judges, the notes I got were really detailed. Grats again to the top 10 those courses were the good sh%$ right there |

I didn't get to catch much of the live stream until the end and didn't even know I had gotten 3rd at that point but wowza! I was surprised to make a top 10 let alone place 3rd! Thank you to everyone for the kind words on Cowboy Heaven and thanks to everyone that ran/judged the contest, it was very fun to be part of this year!
Big congrats to Heisenberg and Pat on 1st and 2nd, both stunning courses and loved playing them, very deserving!
Really looking forward to the next game to see where I can take my design ability to, see you guys on the other side!

jwtexanA couple of quick questions.... 1. Is there going to be a time extension? I didn't love my first 18 so started another one and will likely be pushing to get it done. I don't think I've been in a comp yet when there hasn't been an extension  2. Will the judging rubric be being used? It didn't seem to be used for the WCoD like it was last year and for CC. I could be very wrong on that but there were no scores given at any stage. Just trying to figure out if I bother pushing through on this one. Thankyou kind sir. I think you made the wrong decision! But seriously, you continue to produce quality work and are a wonderful value add to this game! |
