Just back from vacation and wasn't exactly surprised not to make the top 10.  Still, had good fun putting this one together, and got a compliment from someone actually from Tennessee, so feel like I did my job. Edit: Stream Thursday night at 9pm central! Results are in. We have a winner. Working out when we will be able to stream the results over on Andre's channel now, but I wouldn't expect anything until later in the week, possibly Thursday evening. Apologies for the delay over the holiday weekend to get all the results in. But, it is over! Good luck to the top 10 and I will keep everyone posted with a stream announcement soon. Umpqua, Ash Meadows, Rhode Island and Sheep River are my top 4 in no particular order, its really close and no disrespect to the others in the top 10. Some really nice courses in this contest, curious to see the results. I agree sandgroper, Pat is a sleeper here...

Love the guesswork and speculation. Should be a fun result stream! It was certainly a split decision on the winner and a tight race throughout. Judging panel included 5 former contest winners as well.

Cheers Wes. Big thanks to you and Andre for running it and to all the other judges for giving up their time. Apologies for not making the stream but a quick shoutout to patlouvar for taking out 2nd. I've only played it the once (so far) but I recall thinking it looked and played crazy good. The biggest compliment I could give was that I thought the sightlines looked as good as what Ben created with Strathlorne. Just really well executed. Congrats also to the other guys in the top 10 and to Figz for 3rd place. I rangered Cowboy Heaven and loved it as well. Bring on the new game....... we desperately need it. |
