I meet a lot of strange people doing this job but this weeks designer SteelVike takes it to a hole new level. Brian got in contact with me first, not by any normal method, like a phone call, email,these forums, a zoom meeting, nope, Brian got in contact with me by sending a messenger to let me know of his course. It seems Brian does not use any traditional form of communication because of the messages. Now normally, this would have me saying no thank you but I was curious to meet him, to see was he wearing a tin foil hat, so off I went to his home town and was very disappointed that there was not a sheet of tin foil anywhere, instead, he was wearing a steel viking hat. I had to ask why, and he told me it blocks the subliminal messages, that they are everywhere, making you do things you do not want to do, buy things you do not need but his steel hat protected him. I could not help but laugh, you think it is funny he said, well do you remember when tgctours used master clubs, how great and perfect everything was for everyone. They only people not happy were Microsoft as not to many xbox players were winning events and it made them look bad. Well, they started putting messages on their consoles, just a quick word flashing on the screen to fast for the naked eye to see, the word in bright red colours, was fast. Soon xbox players were hitting red fasts for some unknown, cant not be explained rationally reason. They started to quit playing, forcing the admins to make the game easier which allowed more xbox players to win. Think it's funny now he said, when the company you work for can be so affected by the messages. I laughed again, thats just a conspiracy theory I told him. I can proof it he told me, go play my course in a couple of days and if I make you do something against your will, you will put my course on the kinetic. I was more than happy to do this, proving that this guy was a little bit mad would be a nice little bonus to my week.
So a couple of days later I headed to Finland where the course is based. I am not sure we ever had a course from Finland on the Kinetic before and to be honest, I know very little about the place. I know we do have a couple of players from Finland on Kinetic and I think the most famous Finn in the world is a guy called Himo. I arrived at Enkelin Creek, looking forward to proving Brian wrong. The course was good, a nice mixture of easier and more difficult holes but as I played through, nothing made me want to do something against my will, I did not want to tear of my clothes and run around naked, or start some sort of ritual to the demon Himo. I was just me, I did decide though after a couple of holes that the golf cart was a bit slow and I wanted something a bit faster, because of my super elite status with amazon, I had them deliver a Xiaomi Himo Z20 e bike which was fantastic, got me around the course very quickly, it was annoying having to wait for my caddy to catch up but what can you do. While I was waiting on the 11th for him the catch up, I started to get hungry, I started to get a real craving(I wonder what the Finnish word for caving is) for sushi. Luckily since I had to wait for my caddy, it gave me time to find a sushi restaurant in Finland to suit my needs, in a place called Rovaniemi, there was a place called Restaurant HIMO, I booked my table and got on with my round. It was a lot of fun, I decided I would use for Kinetic even though, what ever so called subliminal messages that Brian planted did not work. Sitting in the restaurant that night, the cold of Finland started to get to me, so I decided a little short break somewhere warm would be nice, Africa maybe,possibly Tanzania sounded good, and I found a great deal for this small town called Himo in the Kilimanjaro Region and if I felt a craving for the cold again, I could always climb the mountain. I did have a meeting with my support group Handsome Individuals Meetup Organization coming up, but I am sure my other HIMO friends would understand me missing one meeting.
I am writing this from my hotel room, so I can't be with you this week. I have to admit that I am a little bit disappointed that Brian could not prove his subliminal message theory. It would have been interesting to see what he would have come up with. Even though I am not with you guys this week, I will watch as many streams on twitch as I can. I know there is a guy here on tgctours that streams a lot, I think his name is himo. I wonder will he stream kinetic this week. As for everyone else, have fun, good luck, a bit tougher this week compared to last but I am sure you can handle it, at least you don't have to worry about being made to do something you don't want to do but just in case you are still worried. Brian is selling steel viking helmets at the club house for anyone that wants one.
