Dear TST enthusiasts,
IRL, this is the week of the Waste Management Phoenix Open - played at TPC Scottsdale, with the famous par 3 stadium hole, where the crowds go wild. We are using HB's official version of this course. I tried to pick conditions to make it look less 'plain' and make reading the greens a bit easier. I hope it worked... Other than that, the fairways and greens are firm and there is a bit of a desert wind on some days.
Best of luck and have fun, Frans

It is a "plain" one isn't it Frans. Of the official RCR courses I really think Riveria, Sawgrass and TPC San Antonio stand out for me. Boston and Copperhead I also quite like. Not really a fan of Scottsdale, Summerlin and Bay Hill. How Atlantic Beach made the cut is beyond me. Rubbish course!

Been playing a lot of career mode with these courses recently and I actually made a list a few days ago with Bay Hill number 1, Sawgrass number 2 and Scottsdale was 5th I think. Great course. Closing few holes are a joy.

Agree with tastes. Always interesting to see what others think. I must say I haven't played Scottsdale for over a year now but my first impression was it was not a stand out. I'll be interested to see if my views have changed once I get stuck in to week 20 in the desert!

As for Scottsdale, never loved the course but I think the version in this game is pretty spot on. It can play pretty tough which canāt be said for a lot of the other real courses in this game.

Hey guys, just signed up. Never played this way before so I'm expecting high scores, especially around the greens. I enjoy playing this game for the courses, and I just play by feel. I'm not interested in doing calculations, I just like weighing up the shot and hitting what looks right. So I do like the sounds of this tour. I will not be challenging the top of the leaderboard. See you out there. Chris

Ok... my "normal broadcast" has resumed. Round 2 = -4. -15 at the cut. I was getting a little worried this game was getting too easy!

Opening 65 this week. Started promising with 4 birdies in the first 5 holes but jumped on the par train for a while after that. Up and down back 9 with 4 more birdies but two bogeys as well which was annoying. Found it difficult to read the breaks on a few greens this round, especially ones in shade. Plus too many approaches leaving longer birdie putts. Hopefully tighten that up next round.

These HB greens baffle meā¦ whenever I think itās a straight putt, it breaks; whenever I think itāll break, itās doesnātā¦ š
Hit it silly close so still okay for the first two rounds: Round 1: -12 Round 2: -13

I struggled a bit with them as well. I tried to look at which way the stripes were sloping which helped a bit. Also ghost putts can be useful, it's obvious if it's on a similar line but I find the ones side on a little help, if they're putting uphill I figure mine will break towards where they putt from etc.
