Hello all. I'm working on a plot which has a road leading into and out of the course (out of view). The road is looking ok (not great tbh, but I'm flattening it out to make it look more realistic), but I was wondering what people use for the dashed lines on roads? I tried sinking some brick walls down to make that white line, but I'd really prefer yellow. Can't find anything with a yellow top that I could sink for yellow road markings.
As an aside, I thought that a great addition to the next game would be some sort of "paint" option, where you could just paint things various colours. It would certainly reduce the headaches for things like realistic roads and also things like Clubhouse walls, etc. You could even use them for marking areas on the course (for GUR in real-life) or else as a stand-in for the measure tool. Hopefully someone can forward this to the developers, as I feel like it would be a game-changer for all sorts of things! For now I'll suffice with a good yellow-topped buried object.
I'm sure someone knows/ has my fix! Cheers all!

If you want yellow use the yellow marker post and lie it sideways using the advance setting.

I’ve used the white OB posts laid flat for road edging in my current project. The guttering comes up alright and I've used yellow markers down the middle as a test

Not sure, but I have all of my design done, 18 holes laid down and I’m at 45%

Signs and markers use a lot of memory compared to what you get out of them. I'd wait until you were done with the bulk of the on course stuff and revisit this near the end.
