Rules Updated to reflect group and scoring format:
What is the event format?
How are courses grouped in each round?
Round 1 - Courses will be randomly assigned to one of six groups.
Round 2 - Courses that advance from Groups 1, 2 and 3 will be randomly assigned to Group 1 or 2. Courses that advance from Groups 4, 5, and 6 will be randomly assigned to Group 3 or 4. This is done to ensure that courses will be judged by different judges. EXCEPTION: Courses that finish in 4th place in their Round-1 group and advance as a Wild-Card may be placed outside of their original group in order to maintain four balanced groups of 5 courses.
Round 3 - Courses that advance to the Semi-Finals will be randomly placed into one of two groups.
Finals - Courses that reach the Finals will be judged as a single group of 5 courses.
