I like your settings and cant wait to play...my gamer tag is topflight1234 I play on the pc with master settings...thanks. Also my cousin also wants to join his gamer tag is bpatrick4489 he also plays on pc with master settings I will accept you both for the USE Master Tour, you have till Sunday 8am gmt to complete your rounds if you want to compete this week. Welcome to USE 👍 Uh oh…..I was playing Round 3 and when I finished it said event has ended. I live in eastern time zone in Florida, USA. it is currently 12:16am GMT as I type. oh well, I missed the deadline. I thought I had more time. This USE society is the same as the TGC tours….ok, I know now, granted I did start the event late this week. +9, +6, E practice rounds for me, lol…onto Torrey Pines! |

First round -6 on Master Tour.
Managed to bogey the eighth (I think?) the 300-odd yard par 4 which took the shine off a little. I also watched a replay of one shot to see how close it was to going in, realised it might look like I was trying to get a read and felt guilty, but in my defence it was a 2-foot tap in lol
Brilliant game mode though and will definitely commit to sticking around. Going to stream all of my rounds on Twitch (PGA_Hendo) if anyone is interested / wants to follow.

I think the biggest one to look out for is it is a 2 stroke penalty for using splash outside the bunkers and members police themselves. I have posted up the Master Tour Week 19 thread (a bit late this week sorry) feel free to post your post round commentary and Twitch link, which I am looking forward to watching. I have been saying for ages that I will sort out signing up to Twitch to stream my rounds as it's great way to show others ultra sim who have never tried it. |

It might drum up some extra interest, it's without doubt the best way to play the game imo and the most like real golf by far. I rarely chat on stream because I'm a quiet guy (despite the nonsense I talk on here lol) but I'm sure people would he intruiged by it. Finished up -35, had a monster -12 in round two (was -11 after 11!) and made an account on the proboards so will post over there too. Cheers! |

Yeah it's so annoying that, or even if it sent a message on console when you get a request, or gave us unlimited society slots. Went for the par 4 green with driver and missed the green on the right by a foot and it kicked hard right into the drink. Stupidly dropped behind a tree, hacked through but nearly holed the big breaking 35 footer for par. Some very good up and downs for par, couple of examples where it is all about feel with the short game. These 2 shots from 18 and 16 yards in my same 1st round this week are no brainers with splash but with a partial pitch it takes feel and and practice to get that feel. The short game in real golf is tough and requires touch and feel for distance. A 17 yard up and down in USE is tough especially when I was short sided on the second pitch shot, but great feeling when I hit them close. |

Like you say those feel even more rewarding than sticking an iron close with everything turned off. And let's he honest the likes of your first shot there; they're meant to be hard not just a quick splash and tap in for par. That could very easily be a double bogey in a tour event when you short side yourself. So yeah, loving it and will post on the USE boards when I'm home and on the laptop  P.s. I played out of my skin so don't expect that every week! Haha |
