Thanks mate, though Craig is in a different world to me in USE (he's truly a force of nature on this game, especially in sim golf) Good rounds by yourself this week too hammers1man.

I liked the course a lot, but just struggled to hit fairways or get much going. Water was lurking on the back 9 stretch too which caught me out a few times. Looking forward to seeing what the course offers this week, if longpoleshallow says it's a great course then i'm expecting something good.

Hammersman, been debating messaging the last few days but I think I'm going to chuck the towel in for this version. Tried firing up TST this morning but just wasn't feeling it at all unfortunately. Just hit my limit for hours on this.

That's a shame Craig, your game is definitely suited to ultra sim.
Never say never and you are welcome to pop in and play any remaining tournament anytime if you get the urge for a bit of sim golf.
Unfortunately we do seem to be losing a few members recently but I'll keep the society going till the end of the season and August when the new game should be released.
Been going through a bit of real life stuff atm but should be able to get the multi platform leaderboards etc up to date this week.
As for the new game, yourself, Longpole and Horus are more than welcome to come on board and discuss how we can make USE as realistic as possible.

USE Master Tour Week 23: The Open Championship at Carnoustie 

Topflight and Tuffguts shared the title, hammers1man's poor finish with 3 bogies in the last 3 holes drops him down to 3rd.

Low round is a 63 in round 3 by Topflight

A commanding win by Hendomedes by 14 strokes over fellow Xboxer horuspheoenix, Tuffguts is 3rd a further stroke back.

Low round is a great 63 (-9) in round 1 by the champion

Hendomedes wins again this time by 4 strokes over Tuffguts, horusphoenix keep up his good form to take 3rd

We don't see many scores in the 50's on USE Master Tour, a superb 59 by the champion in round 2

Ya, I typically don't play the course before making conditions as that is just too much. 

I try to give variety in time of day and the weather should be similar to the weather for the region in which the course is home..

I did find the 'Dawn' on this course (round 1) to be quite dark in many areas.  Will likely stay away from that time in the future..

USE Linksland Week 69.
After an aggressive birdie putt on hole 4 in round 2 I managed to make a mess of the hole but still holed a long uphill bump and run for par. I do like the long chipping in this game just a shame those short chips are so easy. Played well after that hole as I was finally really finding my swing rhythm. i just need to play this game more as after long breaks it just takes time to get your swing back

USE might be a multi plat niche society but on master difficulty we have a much more diverse competitive cross platform leaderboard than TST on TGCTours. TBH I have always wanted proper sim (not this ghost ball crap) but it's nice that we have Xbox members actually competing and winning tournaments. Maybe there is more skill in this game than actually hitting straight lines and perfect tempo which Craig / Hendomedes has proven with his consistent play.
My time is done with pro is done, I just think the driving off the tee is terrible on that skill level, feels nothing like golf and holding the big stick in your hands.

Thanks Hammersman. Even as someone who argued for (and with you iirc haha) for pro being a good thing I definitely agree from my time in these events that marker off, vibration off and introducing some short game uncertainty is the best way to level the playing field. And a hell of a lot of fun.

Saying that I do get the change in terms of participation but as for the gameplay itself you can't beat these settings imo.

Started with a tee shot OB on the 1st but manged to hit a few birdies to get back under par. Putter was stone cold in both rounds 1 and 2 and didn't hole anything over 12 foot.
