My only concern is that the winds are identical, meaning that following ghost balls will lead to an advantage. Perhaps a setting for tournaments where ghost balls are not allowed will be needed if this turns out to be the case.
Definitely looking forward to playing in some higher winds with everyone else!
EDIT: What are your thoughts on increasing the variance of the gusts? At the moment the wind is mostly static, do you think the wind should swing around a bit more in direction and speed more frequently? e.g. look at the wind blowing around in this vid:

I asked this same question about loading up turn enabled/ghost balls

This is only good! I cant see any drawbacks in this, and it really should have been implemented from the get go. Or, we just started Our tour too early.

I bet the top tour cut line goes up 20%, and the Web winners drop by 30% in final score.

Really happy with this recent update.
I confess that I wind waited on my first tournament last week, because there was going to be no way I stood a chance if I didn't.
I've been practicing playing in winds, and I'd much rather the playing field be fair, and do badly in the tournaments, than do badly because someone had better conditions.

When will the same wind's for everyone start? Mid-may when the next update drops Looking forward to this update immensely. Just played my first two rounds in the Golden Gate Open, being my first tournament on TGCT. Thought I might actually do alright after a round of -15 in practice beforehand but with winds of 15-20mph throughout each round (the majority of which were full on headwinds which didn't help the cause), needless to say I didn't get close to that after 36 holes let alone 18 so it looks like I won't be making the cut in my first tournament
Having seen some of the scores set already on the XB1, I can only guess that some players are simply astonishingly good or the winds weren't as harsh. If it's the former then I seriously need to eat me spinach (a-gah-gah-gah-gah-gah-gah)!

I'm looking forward to the first links tournament when winds are 20mph+. I see myself as a grinder and will be up for that challenge.
