Coming in from the West Coast of California, Point Lobos GC is now published for the CC Contest. I tried to sneak as many requirements in as possible without giving up integrity of the design. 1. At least one driveable Par 4 (17th Hole) 2. At least one Par 3 greater than 230 yards (7th Hole) 3. At least two holes with zero bunkers (8th and 16th) 4. A double green with two sites (14th Hole) 5. At least one blind tee shot (2nd and 17th) 6. At least three par 4s under 400 yards (1,2,11 and 17th holes) 7. At least one three shot Par 5 (6th) 8. Back to back Par 3’s (7th and 8th) 9. At least two holes with center line hazard or tree (2, 6, 11th)

I had a lot of fun in my round (even though I fell apart on the back 9). The 17th hole is a really fun and well designed driveable 4. Good luck in the contest!

Lovely track. I like the routing and the variation in holes. High winds kept it tricky and caught me out on a couple of holes (not as much as a couple of random red slows). Nice clubhouse, but I would have liked you to do more with the sunk skyscraper. May be a deck around it and some planting. The fairways are a good width, which gives you some confidence. I thought I was going to have one of those rounds, where no putts would drop and I'd come in even. Hit a shocking approach from 100 yards out (a red slow) and couldn't get up and down, turning 2 under. Love the closing stretch from 15. Nearly a perfect tee shot for a tap in birdie. Then the dramatic 16th tee shot, which I played safe, and still don't know how that chip didn't go in. The drivable 17th is a fantastic hole, that I played safe for birdie. Then the very natural feeling 18th snaking it's way down to the clubhouse for another closing birdie. I had a fly around and really enjoyed the plot. It's got that Monterey vibe going on. imgur.com/KpxXjdSimgur.com/119CzEtimgur.com/2sxWMbPimgur.com/Ndsmsio

Thank you guys for the feedback. I am not great with building clubhouses, as a matter of fact, I’m horrible at it. It’s something I plan on spending time on with my next course whenever that is.
As for the layout, I thought this design had some fun elements and I definitely love the positive feedback on 17. It was on of those holes I wasn’t sure would be received we’ll because it doesn’t have a massive risk/reward element.

Really liked the sight lines and environment of this course. Great looks off many of the tees and approaches. Holes played well, good mix of strategy and options. Greens were receptive and easily understood. Could definitely see playing this in a tour round for sure

Played your course today and thought it was a stunner. The environment was beautiful and it was a good test. The lighting fit the environment well. Great design! Hope you do well in the competition.

Buddy I think you've turned the corner I hoped you would turn. I always thought you had potential to make a true stunner... and this might just be it. (not that your other courses are bad lol) Can't wait to play it.

Massive apologies for taking so long to get this play through onto YouTube. That said, it's my favourite course of yours!
