Played the blue course this AM. Very solid…shot like -10 or so with 3 eagles. Loved the planting and the environment, some really beautiful sightlines. Thought the greens were pretty benign, maybe could’ve used some more contours to spice them up a bit. I played on default settings, so with some firming and winds and increased green speeds, they may play a bit tougher. Well done as always and I look forward to playing the black tomorrow

Unbelievable course yet again, I’ve got you in the top 5 designers in the community if not the best. The environments you create are top notch. Keep it up.

Not playing the game a whole lot these days, but I'll certainly pop the head in to check out a pair of Heisenberg tracks.

That was spectacular! Both courses were brilliant. Shot a 61 on the Blue and had a blast there. Man the Black course is a brute! Was +7 at the turn but clawed it back to shoot a 73. Stunning environment and the golf was great fun. Awesome work buddy

Oh my......Visually just so well done! The eye for detail and views around the course are just masterfully done. And the courses played just as great!!! I just have to ask one serious question.......how do you have the time to create courses and with such precision and beauty, do you have a full time job ? This is the part I really struggle with in my own designing..... where to find the time? and once i find time, use it efficiently. You know I'm just kidding you, but at the same time I am seriously asking. Good luck in the contest!! I'm sure it will do well.

Having dreamed of playing Barnbougle for many years (Dunes holds the distinction of being Australia's third best course, with Lost Farm coming in at 7), now with the damn zombie apocalypse it's a pipe dream until we can get the borders opened for more than a couple of weeks. The perfect long weekend getaway with a stop on King Island. Sattler Heads is a wonderful homage to the Tassy way of golfing. Rugged, windy with undulating fairways that look like they just sprinkled fairway grass seeds on the natural land and waited for it to grow. The surrounding waste bunkers with the under growth is wonderfully natural. The saddled fairways are faithfully reproduced and with the high winds it makes choosing and executing shots very challenging. There were plenty of approach shots where I was holding my breathe waiting the outcome. Really enjoyed my round and played pretty well. The clubhouse looked wonderful imgur.com/s8SeLAaThe on course apartments is where I'll be staying imgur.com/AI5A39nUnless I can stay at Sattler House imgur.com/vR2NPVHNow for the black track...

Oh my! Am I ever glad I played the Blue first. That thing beat me up early with those high winds. A very challenging round of golf. I managed to get back to even on the turn and then held on for the wild ride on the back 9. Pared 10 then birdied 11 and 12 followed by bogies on 13 and 14 then the best stretch of golf you'll see, my final shot could be the best I've hit.
Certainly a tougher challenge than the blue course but very satisfying and I can only imagine this in real life.
Great track and will be favouriting it!

Thanks again for taking the time for those who and played and posted in here - much appreciated. HoneyBadgerHacker - Loved the meme. I've seen what you can do and have little doubt you'll pull something out of your sandy boots scootmcgoot - Yeah fair call Scoot. I switched between publishing at 158 and 169 a few times but stick them at 187 and you should see them come alive considerably more graemevood - Appreciate that. I've got to plenty to work on but we're just so fortunate to have the best designers always willing to help and share their knowledge. Gives us all a leg up for sure. Terry Grayson - That genuinely means a lot coming from you. Ardoilean still one of my all time favourites. We're learning from the best no doubt. robn - We're ranger buddies now - don't be a stranger cd06 - Thanks Charlie. Yeah the black course can kick your arse if you're not hitting them well. Appreciate the play and support. scottish67 - Appreciate the kind words. I guess there's a few reasons I can pump them out lately. 1. We're in and out of lockdowns over the past few weeks thanks to the delta 2 variant reaching our shores. 2. I plan everything out on scaled drawings first so when I get in the designer, really it's just a matter of putting it all together. 3. I've done over 12 courses now so everything flows pretty quickly when I'm designing. I've also stopped playing the game so any gaming time I have is in the designer lately. That's about to change now that I'm done though. 4. My better half gets up early and goes to bed early - that's the main one ..eheh. But yes, I have a full time job sandgroper - Thanks so much for taking the time to play both and sharing the videos. I'll definitely give them a watch. Get to Barnbougle when you can - you definitely won't regret it.
