Liverpool crushtastic and Burton Albion will have to play well this week to get something from their games with Ajax. Ajax had a bit of a wobbly first twenty minutes of the second half and could have hit more precise shots at goal in the dying seconds, but overall their play was solid and crisp. Burton Albion knows all too well about losing Cup ties to Ajax! It’s going to take a Herculean effort to dig out from the 2-0 deficit we left ourselves.

Midweek Round UpFootball might be coming home but Ben certainly has. I will certainly be glued to the European Falling Over Championship Final in Sunday evening (a front line of Kane, Sterling and Grealish could prove unstoppable), and that should prevent me attempting to play during the tempo black hole that seems to exist around then. Sweet FA Cup
I hinted at a couple of big scalps being taken in the preview show and so it has come to pass. Riotous and his Carlisle outfit took another massive step towards the Big Time with a comprehensive demolition of Aston Villa. avjpfc declined to blame the upset on the unavailability of his Weeble-in-Chief Jack Grealish due to International commitments but 63 free kicks might have made a difference. mbuenger and Barcelona might be taking their time to adjust to the more agricultural style of football in the Championship but they took the scalp of Premier new boys, Bristol City. Giraffe72 had extra distractions this week but Barca deserved their win. Celtic are also under the cosh at home to Hyvinkään Palloseura and will need a monumental comeback to avoid another Premier side falling. Premier DivisionA bad week all round for Villa as Art Vandelay found a way to win ugly in Birmingham. The Pirates sneaked a 2-1 win to put a dent in the Brummies' title aspirations. Juventus are closing in on another win. FutureBuckeye11 has hardly put a foot wrong and this week it is Celtic Wolf on the receiving end. It goes without saying that cassinochips is in control of the tie with Man United but jason755 has pulled worse positions out of the fire. He will be channeling the spirit of 1999 in his attempt to salvage something from their double header. Championshipxboxjonnyuk might have needed to speed-play on Sunday before dashing off to sample the fruit-based drinks for the ladies of Georgia. This seems to be the way forward for Spurs as they put my East Fife side to the sword and is well-set in his cup tie. Burton look well-placed to leapfrog me into second as they are leading at home to Tranmere and Carlisle will surely see off Hyvinkään Palloseura to stay on top of the pile. SkyBlueBen is all square in NEW ZEALAND and Barca hold a slender advantage over sid snott .

honeybadger64Sky Blues owner was too tight to fund the trip to NEW ZEALAND and would only stretch to a Travelodge in Kent. He would have sourced a campsite but calculated the cost of buying tents was more than the cost of the Travelodge. Welcome to Canterbury, England Justin statelyowl Hope you like your new HOME ground

Hello. F91 is definitely not used to playing against two opponents in two different competitions on one pitch. As a result, it took the players three rounds to get an overview of the situation. Understanding how it is possible that the same shot can get past the Bristol keeper to score a goal while being caught by the Juve goalie at the same time is a really challenging task. Anyway, it looks like Dudelange can focus solely on their race to catch up in the league again as of next week. Cheers and good luck all!

4th Round 72 (E)
With the match beyond Celtic's reach it was just a case of damage limitation for the home team. But Juventus weren't finished yet and another corner was met by the head of Ronaldo to give the visitors a resounding victory.

Herne Bay started the second half playing better than what they had been in the first half and shocked the Barcelona super stars by putting the ball in the back of the net to make the match level. It's all to play for in the last 22 minutes.
In the S.F.A Cup they pulled a goal back against Spurs, but Spurs still have the advantage at 2-1. Can Herne Bay get a last minute goal to take the match into extra time Rd 3 -2

Dragons have been watching to much Euro2020, and all they took away was the Denmark tactic of parking the bus after half time, but couldn't even do that well to extend the match:
R3 74 (+2) R4 75 (+3)

Man U v Cassino Round 3 -4 Man U had to dig deep here to stay in the contest with a couple of goal line clearances as calcio tried to finish off this match, but Man U never gave up and got a goal and the crowd sense they may have a chance of a point here it’s 1-2 with 20 to go.

Man U v Cassino Round 4 +1 Man U failed to capitalise on their bright start to the 2nd half and a few unforced errors crept into their game,Cassino made them pay with 10 mins remaining with a goal of their own but Man U can be proud of their performance but knowing also they missed a big opportunity here,1-3 final.

The final 22 minutes for Herne Bay were lack lustre, but the Bay manager has worked out by using his fingers & toes that we scored a goal against Barcelona and neither Spurs or Herne Bay managed to find the back of the net. In the championship league Herne Bay gain a 1-2 win to just about keep them in with a play off place . While in the Cup lost 2-1 to Spurs. As a fellow Man of Kent I wish the Spurs manager good luck for the rest of the Cup Rd 4 +2

Struggling to update the score sheet as there is no power on my street and might be the morning before it is back on. Your best bet is if it’s out all day tomorrow. You won’t be tempted to play any pixel golf on Nightmare Tempo Day and you won’t have to watch England!!

Who are they playing? Like I’ve said before I also totally lose interest in football competitions once we’ve been knocked out so I do completely understand your confusion. Not as confused as the Scots though, they’ve turned into Italians (after previously being Croat, Czech, German, Ukrainian and Danish). Talk about an identity crisis!! 🤣

Pixel Golf Football S3 - Championship, week 6: Double Trouble, act 4: A New Hope... or not, or maybe
League vs. Carlisle: Not much to say here. Carlisle keeps running laps around us while we're trying to decide whether our glasses of water are half empty or half full. The keeper is looking up in the sky, the defenders are looking down to the ground and counting how many shades of green they can spot on the grass. Midfielders are taking a nap, and the strikers are off to a brothel early, little did they know they won't score there either! Final score: 4-0 Carlisle.
Sweet FA Cup, Round of 16 @ Celtic: nervous moments as we could have booked our place in the quarters by just playing safe- wait, what are you doing? No, no, hey that's not where you're supposed to attack! Own goal, god dammit not again! Not another choke! (Round 3: +1, 73)
Thank god we have dodged the bullet by scoring at the last seconds off a chip. Might have gotten a bit too comfortable and almost let the game slip. Or maybe it's just that the team that turned up in the second half was a group of impostors since they played like what you can find at the bottom of your shoe, you can take your pick of that one. Final score: 3-1, off to get killed in the next round. (Round 4: -2, 70)
Just got nothing to drop, almost nothing went right. Tempo can't be blamed, just blame the player on this one. Probably the last time I leave it that late.
