Calling all experienced designers. I rage deleted one of my holes last night because I can’t seem to get my water hazard correct. Does anybody have any helpful tips. Yes, I did watch Andre’s tutorial several times. Maybe it’s not working well because this hole is dead away from the sun so nothing on it seems to pop. Any help is much appreciated

I'm not a very experienced designer (compared to many of the folks here), but it would help to know what you are struggling with exactly. Are you trying to add water yourself, or are you just carving a hole in the terrain until you reach the water level? Here are a few random comments/tips (that may or may not help): - I have a couple of small waterfalls on my new course but I could never get the water flowing right. I just didn't see any movement.
- If you are adding your own water it helps to start with level ground. Then dig a trench or hole and make sure your water square covers all of it. Then slowly bring it up until it's where you want it. If you get some weird blue edges sticking out in places, just raise the ground around these to cover them up.
- Every time I try to connect a river to a lake or something, the height's wouldn't match up. (Hence the waterfalls. Heh.)
- I couldn't get the water to flow correctly - I just couldn't see it moving -- so I took out all my smaller water squares and just used a few bigger squares. Made my life easier.

Thanks Turk, I needed to cut down some trees and add bushes and grass. This allowed a little sun to peak thru so I highlighted that and walled off part of the hazard...thanks!
