sandsaver01Still have tempo issues. I just don't play enough to get any sort of rhythm and I certainly don't practice (what are we talking about...). Anyways, it's always an adventure out there now. Who knows where the ball will go off the tee? Rd 4: E, was 5-over through 10 and went off on the last 8 holes.

All I can say about round three is MEH! It was a better score than rounds one and two, but I am not corresponding with my domicile about it.

Rd 3 +2 started with a double bogey and somehow finished the rd the same after a few ups & downs. Suppose you can call it an improvement after Rd 2 sandsaver01

Decent closing round, would have been pretty nice except I had to complete my streak by dunking another ball on that short par 4 over the water. Some tough pins, glad to be moving on to next week. R4: -5 sandsaver01

Rd 4 +7. 3 Doubles was the issue. Made a few chip ins and putts so could have been worse. Those pins were crazy on a few holes. sandsaver01

Couple of holes got the best of me this week. I think that was the biggest difference maker. Round 3: +1 (73). Quad on the 7th and here's how it happened: red fast -> water. Red slow with club up -> water. Perfect with club up for insurance -> almost too far to water again. The big wonder is how there wasn't a 2 or 3 putt in there too! Pretty much the perfect example of why I hate forced carries over water, I've seen a few this week that have kicked my teeth in and I simply have started to despise them since I've got no idea how to work through those! Try to use the right club? Perfectly fast, water. Club up? Perfectly slow, water. What am I supposed to do? 3 consecutive birdies after that to almost wipe it away entirely, then Par City until the 18th with a bogey with a 3 putt. Good round without the quad! Barely squeaked out a win which is... definitely surprising but I'll take it! Round 4: +10 (82). What a way to go out this week, going down in flights and boy did I bomb this round to go to the next step with zero confidence. A whole 2 birdies, both on par 3s that seemed pretty hard to score on, and a 10 to finish things with a couple more water balls due to idiocy and maybe no care at that point? Putting sure as hell didn't help either, 3 times 31 putts with a 25 in the 3rd. I am better than this, for damn sure! In summary: went +9 on the 7th in 4 rounds. +8 on the 18th. Another pretty bad one was the 2nd with +4 but with 2 doubles. That's how you can't compete. +22. Since our team is not really playing for anything next week, I'd now like to thank the teammates for putting up with my stupid bad efforts on this weird season. You are the MVPs of the team, that's for damn sure! sandsaver01

I am finished the DBag's regular season, and in the usual erratic form. Started out with four birds in the first five, but then the tempo monster bit me and I went bogey, bogey, bogey, DOUBLE bogey to wind up at +1 at the turn. Luckily I controlled my temper and managed to avoid any costly tempo issues on the back, getting five birdies to finish at -4. Not stellar to say the least but it is what it is these days.

sandsaver01Mike, as the useless leader of one of the teams that ended up nowhere near topping the division is there any need to play/report next week or am I done? If I am done I'd like to thank you Bill and Dan for all the hard work you put into running this.

Anyway I envisioned only the two division winners playing off so everyone else is free to do what they would like. Thanks for your Captaincy and support this season and I am sure I will see you around.

The score sheet is as complete as it is going to get. I did not do the individual scoring since we had so many subs and NS (no score) it was too much trouble. The bottom line is that We're Snott Losing won the Palmer Division with 5 wins, and All American Boys the Nicklaus with 5. The playoffs will be starting now, so would dansamp and slinky783 please get me their lineups ASAP. Thank you all players for making it through a trying season, and further info will be coming later about if, how, and when a new season will start.
