sandsaver01Round 1 (-3) Front 9, 6 under par...Back 9, 3 over par. The greens on the back 9 killed me. 3 putted 3 greens, and chunked 3 shots out of the green side bunker on #10 for a bogey. A tale of 2 nines, 1 good, 1 bad🤮

sandsaver01En fuego right now boys as I seem to have found it a bit... let's see if it lasts. R1: -14 R2: -8 After the plat demo I find myself back in Elite, but I've put up -23 thru 2 and find myself T2 heading into the weekend which is great. Hopefully can keep this run of good form going later in the week!

I have just completed round 1, and it was a roller coaster. I made the turn at +5, due mainly to an 11 on the first par 5, after being 50 yards from the pin in 2! Two tempo-flubbed pitches, then 3 roll-back chips (what a sucky pin, no landing area and downhill past the pin) followed by a rage 4 putt did the deed. Seven birdies, a par and a temp-bogie on the back and I finished at a fabulous -1.  |

Strange game for me at present. Hurtling down with double demos then I played quite well here except a double and couple bogies to spoil it. Hopefully calibration helped as ignored forum stuff about playing more fasts and just tried to hit perfects instead ...or could just have been lucky.
Birds on 1 5 7 8 13 15
Eagle on 10 also.
Not been any help to partner of late but that might.

This week has totally sucked for me. The game is actually fun when tempo works, when it doesn't it's currently pure hell. Round 1: +6 (78). Putter in a freeze, approaches sucked, fairway percentage was surprisingly solid for this course. I played one practice round, should have saved it for this occasion since that was 6 strokes better! Not like it mattered anyway, I think I needed to shoot like -16 to even tie, which... haha, yeah right. Anything even close to double digits under par is downright impossible for me at the moment and needs everything going right to even get close to that! So imagine what kind of sicko round I need to get to -16! Round 2: +5 (77). I was only trying to knock out some strokes for our better ball pair which I managed to do pretty well. Not perfectly but I think I cleared it out so that it's going to be under par at least. Too bad I added next to nothing to it, I gave us 2 more birdies I think. I was actually playing for red fasts most of the time, I couldn't buy a perfect tempo shot until it was going way past my target! We might have lost it already and our opposition so far has only 1 player on it! Well played Dan, can't wait to see which impossible score I gotta try and beat later. +11 after 2, saying my goodbyes to CC-D after the cut deadline and preparing for a hearty return to CC-E since I'm very likely getting 2 marks this week. Nothing against the course, I'm just frustrated with the way I've played pretty much every round so far this week (practice round for this event was fine and the second round of TST was okay up until one hole). It happens I guess and I'll just have to take it. I'll be finishing up later since I wouldn't be even trying if I continued after this whole fiasco of playing. sandsaver01 |

A verrrrry interesting round two. You wouldn't think it possible to shoot 8 birdies and an eagle and still only come in at -1, but that is the story. Some stupidity, some lack of concentration, and quite a bit of bad tempo caused some train-wreck holes, but hopefully Brandon will cover those for me (hope hope hope).  |

Yeah not in love with the course, it just feels a little disjointed to me. Was cruising in Round 1 at -6 on the front, including a near ace on a Par 4 that hit the pin. Went into the water on the next short par 4 and have been shaky in these rounds since then. R1: -5 R2: -5 R3: -2   sandsaver01 |

sandsaver01Tempo was all over the place tonight. Add to that a few bad splash shots, and you get a whole lotta pars. Rd 3: -1, Was +1 at the turn and only made 2 birds on the way in.
