Above is what i do in real life (or did, till injuries curtailed me a bit), and has to be the same here.

I know im new here but i was exactly the same in the xbox societies i was in. Always the whipping boy but the boss appreciated me for playing on.

Honestly just trying to help and not preaching folks......keep her lit

Wish I could have kept playing yesterday as whatever good fortune I had going was lost by today...maybe it was the lack of wind. By mid 3rd round I also grew very tired of this course...the lack of diversity really bores me. Two par 5 just sucks.

Anyway I went -8, -5, -4, -4 = -21

For me I'm in a weird place and after this event and embarrassed. Have a lot of games and hours under my belt and feel like I am just starting all over. Thing is I was never a red faster but my shots usually ended up in the fast to red fast. I'm just frustrated with it to be honest, want to play well, want to do right for my team and hope they realise I fight and claw every hole even after the blow up holes. That's why I kept on with rounds 3 and 4. I wasn't going to let the game beat me down. Wish I could play my Kinetic rounds. I am eager to redeem myself.

Anyway, I'm just musing and reflecting on my worst ever round here in years and thankful to see others being supportive of each other and really do hope we all get back in our grooves.

It’s a good point with the possibility of the player base shrinking. Numbers on TGCT were well down last week. Dropping to Pro is an answer, the more leeway means the new mechanics are nowhere near as damaging, but after having regaining my tour card I’m not giving up without a fight. The problem with something like Dirtbags is that while you struggle you’re affecting other players, your team mates.

Personally I will continue to plug away in the hope some normality returns.

Also I’m absolutely sure there are server issues. Saturday evening I was banging perfects no problem, by Sunday afternoon I couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo.

In my opinion, this was one of the worst courses that could have been scheduled for the week after the swing changes. catcherman22 Dan had this scheduled long before he knew about the changes and he cannot be blamed. We will plow through this as the bags of dirt we are.(you know, same boat and all)

I would say just look around the CC leagues, more players than not, are struggling with theses changes. The thing I am most struggling with is the tempo change from one round to the next that I am experiencing. Uncertainty is the name of the game for me.

In the long run I think I will enjoy the game more if these round to round tempo changes go away.

For now, don't be too hard on yourself!

SkyBlueBen billybudd0623 TimB   I really feel for you guys and although it does not seem to have been as bad for me, I 1000% agree that something is amiss at HB/2K with regards to tempo.  Mine is unrepeatable round to round and even hole to hole sometimes.  I hope you all can hang in there and not worry about the outcome of the DB season.  I am sure as dansamp quoted above, all of us here at the DBs understand the situation and hold no blame for letting ones team down.  Perhaps when the season is complete we shall mark the outcome with an asterisk to indicate it really doesn't count!

Reporting my round two score. It was not as satisfying as round one, but considering how much swearing I did at being in the scrub due to tempo issues it is certainly acceptable.

My round was definitely an excrement filled round.

At one point, or multiple points I found myself uttering "Well this is a real horseshit extravaganza"

Anywho sorry guys I didn`t really intend to come across as so whiney. I felt I needed to explain to my team how I turned in an 85 but I guess I went off on a tangent which in retrospect is kind of embarrassing. Sometimes I get long winded in my explanations and veer off course a bit. I do wish (like others) that this tempo roulette would get solved by the developers of the game but fat chance of that. "Working as intended"

The game hurts mate. I left it a while in truth as it wasn't much fun. Was on xbox and honestly it was a shambles on that platform ( better now I think ) . I'm not good at it and even when I was going along steady I would always find a lovely treble lurking.

I get totally what folk mean regards letting partner down as I never minded a poor score if it was only me suffering but I'm positive those we think it affects don't hold a grudge. I wouldn't if reversed .

Mike, I cannot promise anything in round 2 except that I am going 'birdie hunting' every hole.(this usually does not turn out very well, but we shall see) Hopefully we can get a W.
I am going back to one of the big dog drivers.   At even par, I am on the cut line at the moment.

Finally, any course that doesn't have 4 par fives, loses a star or two when I rate the course.

Round 2...+4.

Terrible...especially last 4 holes. Was two over and birds on 12 and 13 got me back level.

Then dropped 4 shots coming home including finding water on 16 for double.

Now where's my pint.

Usually I can count on my putting to save my ass, but I don't know if it was nerves, frustration or jank but I missed putts that were almost guaranteed as early as the round I played 10 minutes before starting my TGCT rounds this morning.

Sorry for the speech had full intentions of not saying anything before I started my rounds and just report in but feel I need to apologize to the team and explain my mess. Sorry to sound so Debby Downer but I want to love this game and be able to compete and feel like I'm fighting it. Would love to play my Kinetic rounds to redeem my confidence but had two demo marks, got hit with the stupid 2 strike bug and sitting at 4 now so not going to risk playing and being demoted. (bad timing for this bug to hit..again) I grinded my ass off to get there and not ready to bounce back down so quickly so I have to put my Kinetic career on hold until I get out of this funk or give up completely.

Was pretty peeved off that second round so went straight out. Putted better and no really stupid shots.

Rd 2 +3 Had hoped for something a little bit better. Felt like every hole could of been a disaster waiting to happen, nearly did happen a few times.
After Rd one was sitting about fifth in K , after this Rd will still make the cut , but any chance of a promo mark has gone.
Time to play Wreckfest and smash some cars & people up, always works for me after a bad Rd.

Had not noticed and thought I messed my mates -11 up with my poor round.

I know he had great back 9 so does that mean my hashed back 9 didn't matter and few front 9 birds helped ?

If so that's some great work by organiser.

But I could be reading it wrong.
