Need a lie down after that. Tough and had to battle on a lot of holes. Was three down after 3. Got back to even but dropped 2 on back 9. 1st Round +2. Don't know how to get scorecards over to here so. Birds...5 , 7 (lipped ace) and 9. Bogie...2 , 12 and 16. Double...3 (wet ball) Tough course and had quite a lot of fasts. sandsaver01Darren, only Pro Tour players have to post their scorecards since I cannot get them off the TGCTours leaderboards - CC players just post and tag me when they have completed their rounds. It is easier for me if you show your rd 1,3, and 4 scores, I get the round 2 scorecard off the site. No problem. So after each round I just do what I did. As in link you and give my score and bit run down of round if wish mate ? Just noticed roster and seen you are captain as well so good stuff. |

sandsaver01Round 1 is in and keeping my theme from last week I really struggled on the back. Was -6 through 6 and finished at -8. In those winds I am pretty satisfied as I was swinging well but too many missed opportunities...then I saw the leaderboard and realized I’m only 2 shots off the lead and I feel like I should have been a couple shots in the lead if not for several very makeable birdies were missed

first couple rounds in the books, was lucky to hole out from the fairway once in each round to get some momentum going and narrowly avoid some of the cliffs! tempo was a little sloppy with the driver but scoring pretty well by avoiding the big numbers and just being fine with par on some holes. I cannot blame my front nine performance on bad tempo, but on bad putting. If I never see another pin on top of a mound it would be wonderful! Two 3-putt bogeys led to a -1 on the outward half, but then seven birdies and an eagle gave a -9 on the back side for a -10 total. I guess the server was not busy, because I only had one bad tempo the entire round! It is just a crap shoot AFAIK though.  |

sandsaver01 Round 1 even par. 16 pars, 1 birdie and 1 bogey. Not much fun. Red free on the front 9 but littered with REDS on the back. My first red SLOW came at 18 and led to my only blemish. Good luck to all.

sandsaver01Rd 1: -4, 6 birdies and 2 bogeys in tough conditions. Love the course. Those fairways are huge but who knows what lie you'll get. My understanding is that the conditions only get easier from here so...
