sandsaver01R3: -5 R4: -6 Really poor showing for me the last two rounds, sorry team. Looks like it's still good enough for 1.5 points so we'll take it, but man. Since the update I just have some days where I can hit perfect tempo, and others where it's just a struggle. I feel ya Dan; I shot a round today where I did not have a clue what my tempo was going to be. Mostly v fasts, I do not get that many slows. It is frustrating as HE11, and I was never a red faster. |

I do not know whether HB/2K are still d1cking around with server-side tempo, but over the last days mine has gotten totally unpredictable. The only sure thing is that is water left or right I will hit a v fast or v slow to find it. By the middle of round 4 I was just speed golfing as I know I had given the match to Bill O, but this was a new record for bad play.  |

sandsaver01 Mike, my tempo was so bad, I just waited for the red fast notice to come on and most of the time it did. I agree that it feels like the tempo has changed again after they tweeked it, or it certainly feels different to me. Tough luck in the 4th round.

Yeah, agree with you guys. Mine felt great last weekend, and then it felt like in the middle of this week it went to complete sh%$. Might be just me.

It appears to me that after a patch the tempo is good/great. After a while it goes to brown stuff. Plus it's the weekend and I find the game runs worse during peak times.
I'm a firm believer that they need to hire a server admin to keep the server optimized on a weekly basis. I used to run a forum and at one point even had a dedicated server. I noticed after some server work, and stuff, (long time ago and my memory of all the things I did is foggy) but cleaning junk files, running the equivalent of a defrag via a command line and stuff the server ran so much better and faster.
I know they host on Amazon game servers and not sure of their specs but maybe they also need to upgrade the package they are on. Look for the flying pigs on that to happen.
Like those above. I had a round today that was all over the place. I even quit bothering to aim my shots. Eventually after about 15 minutes of playing, yep 15 minutes. I exited out and am now playing another game. Minimzed atm so I can google something in relation to the game. Sad that one day I could play golf for hours straight now I can barely tolerate it. And no this isn't me complaining about the change, it's me complaining about how the game seems to be playing since the change. Wasn't redder, but my shots usually wound up in that area. I like the change when the server seems to be running good but not when I'm red fasting one shot then red slowing the next. (wouldn't even dare to post this outside this thread and have the wagons circled, taking a risk here lol)

I had tempo issues all week. I spent 5-10 minutes on the range before each round and even there I had no idea where the ball might go. A few chip-ins and some long putts helped me get what I got. Id almost never hit it very close.

The enlarged, two division Dirtbags have finished week 1 season 4 and the results are in!!! The Snotts and the Kings won their matches in a walkover, but the Ballz vs Boys was much closer. Week 2 pairings are in the score sheet, have at it.

SkyBlueBenBen, we are all in this together. I played a practice round and the front side murdered me. Don't know what is in store in the real first round but I was seeing 17mph crosswinds the entire 18. I think I shot +3 with 4 3-putts. For me it is a real guessing game right now.

One hole really killed me where a red fast took me OOB down a cliff, a it was uphill from there. The red fasts which during the week I thought I'd mainly tamed returned with a vengeance. It's letting the team down that disappoints, quite happy otherwise to let Master level and the new mechanics decide where my skill level lies. It's certainly not in CC-E!!  |
