Mike, 3rd round blues continue for me. An eagle at 18 makes it somewhat respectable. -6 I battled the red fasts and fasts all day long. IGolfBad Mark, I gave you a very 'beatable' score. Take it easy on the old fart. This old fart might be older, so I’ll ask the sane of you, and have you put a “+” in front of that 6. And a 1.

Off topic story just in case you want to stop here... I went to the eye doctor for an eyeglass and contact fitting this morning. Before the doctor came in the assistant was asking me questions. She was a young lady and very nice. She finished the eyeglass part and started on the contact questions. She: i see you have worn these before so wearing CONDOMS should not be a problem for you. Me: Yes I have worn them many times, not so much lately, and I have never liked wearing them.(snickers) She: I am so sorry, it was just a slip of the tongue.(red as a beet) Me: Just kidding with you. If that is the worst thing you say today, you will be ok. She: Thanks...ok back to the CONTACTS. I bet the young lady will always remember this old fart, and she did not look me eye to eye the rest of the appt.

Take it easy on the old fart. Round 3 Five birdies on the front nine had me at -3 turning the corner and breathing down BillyFart’s back. But after a bird on 10 to make it really interesting, the chirp machine ran out of gas, and a couple of late bogeys sealed my fate, and secured the win for Mr. Owensby billybudd0623Rd 3: -2, which is a slight improvement in the right direction, sandsaver01Time for my farewell round to you good Dirtbags. At least for now.

Round 4 Fitting that I am shown out to the dulcet tones of Chuck’s violin Violinguy69So soothing was his playing that I basically sleepwalked through the 18, with nary a squawking bird in sight to keep me awake, as 6 bogeys were the only scoring I could produce. sandsaver01, I give my parting gift as… Rd 4: +6 Farewell for now, boys. I wish Darren good luck and the rest of the Bags o’ Dirt a hearty catch you later!

Rd 3: -2, I was all over the place. I wasn't under par until 17 when I made a bomb for birdie. Another at 18 was the best I could do.

Just finished off what was a very crazy 4th round. The conditions for round 4 definitely make it harder. I started bogey, birdie, bogey, eagle and then didn't make a bogey the rest of the way. Throw in 6 more birdies, and I'm in for the week at -25 and -7 for round 4. My game is really turning it on this week, let's see if I can keep it going! R4: -7 sandsaver01 Edit: and now i see I tied with Chris. Good thing I made that 20 footer on 18

Week done! I was concerned I would do much worse and I could have done much worse. However, this is a time of adjustment for me and many others and so far, very mixed results going on. Round 3: -2 (70). Really terrible start, with two notable weird things happening. Had my finger slip on the par putt on 3, leading to a bogey. Then my drive on 5 didn't go anywhere because I underpowered and red fasted to... I don't know, like 150 yards or so? Definitely in the rough though. I've got zero clue how I even managed to chip in for par there! Then my tempo got pretty good apart from one hole where I put it in the water again (if you guessed 18, good on you!). Haven't seen such a ridiculous amount of perfect drives before, from the tee and while on the fairway... and I've got a 295 driver for god's sake! And could have had even more too since I saw some grey and narrow reds. Could have done better, but yeah. Putting was really good though on 144s which are my weaker speeds, shows what aspect carries me now and what probably did carry me before. Round 4: E (72). Tough round, tempo was not my friend. Boring and bland due to the winds too. Anything not over par right now is pretty good to me. Can't really say much since there's not much to say, almost nothing of note happened. Stats still looking pretty similar at the end. Bottom 5 in driving, bottom 10 in greens, top 3 putter this week (EDIT: also notable that almost went forgotten was that I was at T-7th in one putt percentage on PC out of god knows how many people!). Putting and scrambling does all the leg work for me right now. Good news is that even though I sucked, our collective team effort didn't! Way to go fellow Kings, we got a good start! sandsaver01

sandsaver01 4th round went from red fasts, overcorrected, to slows and very slows. I missed the fairway on every par 5. Anyway....glad this week is over. -3 with bogeys at 9 and 10. Finished in 30ish place in my division.

sandsaver01R3: -5 R4: -6 Really poor showing for me the last two rounds, sorry team. Looks like it's still good enough for 1.5 points so we'll take it, but man. Since the update I just have some days where I can hit perfect tempo, and others where it's just a struggle.
