Ok everyone, results are in! I must say (and I'm not just saying this) that this was a super close competition all around. So many courses almost snuck into the top 5, and top 10.
It was a ton of fun seeing the different approaches everyone took in executing this really tough challenge, so well done. And to those that didn't place, know that I think every single person has shown some improvement, that's awesome to see!
Good luck in 2.3 and whatever other design projects you all have on the go!
*Please note, we will not be providing any additional feedback, that's what we intend the playthroughs to be*

Nice! Congrats everyone! Tons of great entries, and it seemed to me the field was stronger all around in this comp than the previous. Definitely learned a bunch and despite some flaws, put out a better design all around than 2.1, so pretty fun and casual good stuff!
I’m down for a tie 😋

Second, a huge congratulations to all the competitors, as this fun & casual league has helped me as a designer and it's fantastic for this community to have such an involved group of "newbies designers" who are the next group who could make huge waves in the future WCOD, CC, National Treasure & more! 6+ months into the game/designer/this community and I'm having a blast. So, huge thanks all! Now, onto the results..... |

Had so much fun doing this contest. Was never expecting to place, was totally doing it for the feedback, which I was pleased with for a first proper publish. Thank you mattyfromcanada & WhatAboutAmeobi for the time and playthroughs, it's very much appreciated. Only been on tgc tours since Jan/Feb, having a great time, and learning so much, it's a cracking community. DL 2.3 is not for me, but will be very looking forward to 2.4 and future contest, cheers for sorting |

I probably won't be participating in DL2.3 but I'm going to keep an eye out for DL2.4 while I work on extending Talaria to 18 holes, finish my originally planned second course and start on CC. So many projects! Thanks again everyone! Design league is a blast! |

my downward trend continues.... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee watch me withdraw from the CC contest just so I can focus more on the design league so I can get my revenge, joking of course, not surprised with the results here! take solace that you had a place up high enough to have a downward trend. The water in the shallow end (aka, participated) is warm and waiting! I'm thinking of creating a group here called the "Derek Zoolander Center for Designers Who Can Open the Course Designer Without Help" or DZCDWCOCDWH" Hopefully, ya'll have read this far and know that I'm also joking and I am very thankful for a place to learn, try new things, celebrate each others creations and be the most fun & casual group in the forums! Let's keep being the group that puts the "Casual into Fun" |

Thanks mattyfromcanada for organizing this! Really put a lot into that design and I'm super excited for the result (especially considering how many amazing designs were out there)! I don't envy the judges on this one... It couldn't have been easy. I don't think I'll make 2.3, trying to focus on CC... I'm really excited to get started on that and get some momentum so I can partake in 2.4. Congrats to everyone! A lot of real solid publishes! |
