If we had a Yorkshire Independence Party they'd have got my vote. YIP Demands National Anthem - on ilkley moor baat at free Yorkshire puddings for everyone, deportation of all Lancastrians (they have to pay their own travel expenses ), return of King Richard 3 remains from Leicester, & a big wall to stop the southerners invading

Yea indirectly. I'm sure Scotland never voted snp because they wanted the conservatives, bottom line is 30 odd percent of English people voted in the millionaires and now the rest of us are expected to accept, times are changing and people are wakening up, about time too.

If Cameron died tomorrow I would celebrate with a pint. Did it when Thatcher popped her clogs, along with millions of others.

I did the same m8, I'm originally from a small town in West Yorkshire - Castleford - all my family are from a little mining village - Featherstone about 2 mile from Cas. Decimated wasn't a strong enough word for what she did. These towns & villages still haven't recovered from it, & now we've got 5 more years.

There was a surprise amount of stealth torie voters, I really didn't understand it. Thatcher was literally evil, we haven't really had any industry since that Era, and I wasn't even around then I'm only 26 but I know the ins and outs of what happened through family. I live in a town called leigh just outside of Manchester and we had a big coal mining industry and rail network, both went instantly when Thatcher imposed her reign of terror.
