Another b101 classic! Really loved the variety of the course. The wind was very high and seemingly into the face on most of the course, so that played really tough. I think I had 3 triples lol.

joking aside this course will take me a bit to process fully, looks like it'll take me a couple rounds to fully figure it out. I would say good luck in Wcod but you don't need it

This course is so good it's gross. So dope it's disgusting. Sometimes I can point out sculpting, planting, etc. as the strong point or even a master class in that area. This course is just a master class period. With these competitions, the bar keeps getting raised higher than I am able to improve on my own designs from course to course. This one made me sit back like..  Very, very well done Ben. |

Loved it even though it kicked my ass a bit. Home 8 and Hole 17 are just good old butt clinching fun!
The part for me that stands out is the variety yet that never feeling forced ever. The cliff holes all look, feel, play so different then the inland holes yet it all feels so cohesive.
Man Ben you deserve all the smoke blown up your ass we do haha so to break that up I will say one time in the round the game lagged and I missed the putt which I blame on this gorgeous course. SHAME ON YOU!!!!
So excited to see how this WC all shakes out!!!

This is what I wrote down after playing this course.
"The whole thing is just genius."
Ben, only you would build a rocky course without actually using a single rock on the entire course. Sculpting, planting, environment, strategy, interest etc. all nailed 100%. Played it on super low wind and default settings. I can only imagine playing this with high win and 187 greens.

Btw Ben. On your stream you were saying the greens were 168 but they are showing 162 for me.
And yes the Highlands glitch is still a thing, it shows default Fairways are soft.

They were 168 yesterday and I haven’t changed anything so didn’t check pre publish. Don’t know what’s happened since then. Not fussed about it as they’ll play basically the same anyway. 🙂 Thanks for all the comments so far everyone! |

-2 thru 3 and thought...man I may finally do well on a Ben course! Yeah that didn’t last. 3 bogeys on the final 5 holes and some other missed putts ended +4. Although the bailout rock on 18 helped get me to within 5 ft for birdie on 18, so I thought that was well placed.
All seriousness, this was stunning. Every shot made you think, the planting was perfect, the immersion...well done as usual.
