Almost to prove my point Round Four contained four slow approaches that cost me five shots (one for a double after finding the water on #4). I messed up one short putt but I can honestly say that nothing felt different on the slow approaches to the more normal fast. I know that at 56 my reflexes aren't what they used to be but if the margins are that small I cannot hope to maintain consistent play and match those who have clearly found a way to be consistent.
For the record 75 (+3) and in all probability East Fife losing 3-1 again. I honestly could care less about the result of the match, what am I going to do? send myself a message to ask for my resignation from the League due to incompetence? I created the scoring adjustments and for the most part they work except when you are CC-B playing like CC-L.

Looks like Chelsea are playing Celtic this week Celtic WolfI watched the real life stream on Optus this weekend and Chelsea copped a shellacking from a rampant WBA - good game to watch even though we got hammered. Pat, this might be close at half-time? I've no idea as I haven't figured out the scoring yet. Haven't paid close attention 'cos I've been playing like crap so it hasn't really mattered. Anyway fwiw I quite enjoyed the challenge of this course. If TGCT are looking for a legal substitute for Augusta they may need not look further than this. I recently played CLV's re-imagined version and didn't like it one bit. Too close to the original and just makes you yearn for the real thing. Anyway looking forward to the second half where I'm sure Celtic have fired up in response to their managers invective.

4th Round +5
I'm glad that I'm done with my rounds on this course, I'm not a fan of it at all.

Rd2 Herne Bay rattled the woodwork on the first hole and then got a bloody nose from all the fast reds which allowed Coventry to score. Hopefully they will have gone in the second half of the match

2-2 Greg! The draw specialists are at it again. A battling 72 in R3, battling because I had to contend with an 8 on 6 after going in the water twice AGAIN. And then a double when I'd got it back to Even. And then to be honest I gave up caring in R4 and speed golfed to a 78. I probably shouldn't have played it. I mailed it in as badly as the real Bristol City are at the moment.
Frustrating, such a good week last week and such a good start this week. I lost the tempo and then I lost my head.

Half time cup of tea for the boys helped to offset the sugar rush that made for untidy play in the first half from the Dragons.
Start of the second half was more active with better passing and shooting, plus the required amount of lucky bounces.
Rd3 65 (-7)

Hello. It looks like Dudelange has home court advantage for the entire season! I suppose this has something to do with the rumors about Champagner parties the league commissioner allegedly spent in Luxembourg in the last summer break. Unimpressed by the big names in the roster of this week's opponent, F91 confirmed their strong form. The first half proved to be rather disputed. The only goal has been scored by midfielder Ryan Klapp who intersected a careless pass by former Luxembourg resident Pjanic in the 18th minute. During halftime, Pjanic visited the F91 cabin to meet some of his old friends. This trip down memory lane must have left a serious impression, as he showed up in an F91 jersey after the change of ends. With 12 players against 10, it is clear that the Dudelange dominance became overwhelming, and it is only due to the rules of the competition that only two more goals have been scored by the Luxembourgish squad. Cheers and good luck all!

Lost everything in the 2nd half. Match, shirt, rag, patience - you name it I lost it. Wouldn't have bothered finishing if it wasn't important to at least post a score.

Round 1 Man U -2 Man U started not bad against the villa with some neat passing but 2 sitters missed will probably prove costly

Round 2 Man U -4 Man U head in at half time pretty pleased with their performance even though the score might not show it against a superior villa side

Pixel Golf Football S2 - Championship division, week 4: Hyvinkään Palloseura @ Canterbury United Dragons
Recollections from the road: "Log #453201: we've been tasked to head on over to Canterbury. At first, we weren't quite sure which one of the... I don't know, millions of them around the globe. Our first instinct was to head back to the U.K., because that's where all our away games tend to be, right? Well, after closer inspection, we found out we're going to New Zealand. The dread struck us all. We're already in the plane to the wrong place, and now we're going to be super close to making it in time to prepare properly. It's been hell sitting in this plane. It's like we're currently in Heaven when looking outside, but still stuck in this Hell... I wonder how long we still have left to go until we've made it there. The delirium is slowly creeping in to everyone. Loonel over there is getting feisty with anxiety and the need to be doing anything at this point, Don is taking a siesta like he always does. We're all just trying to survive this long flight to our destination. As for me... I can feel myself losing it. It's like... I feel tired but I can't sleep. Anytime I try to, someone comes along to stop me from sleeping. It's like... why? Why must you do this to me? I've been awake for too long, I think I'm starting to see things. It's like... wait, what's that on the outside? Is that a... flying pink elephant? Wait no, what actually is that? Huh, it's coming closer... wait, no, not that close! Don't come near me! OH GOD, AAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
Breaking news: coach Will Powers has been sent to the psychiatric ward for further evaluation. For what has caused this, we currently don't know. More news at 11.
Welcome back to more exciting football action! Today's matchup should be a fun one! Two of the top sides of the division taking each other on in what should be a bloody game under the scorching atmosphere over the ground. Today, it's ice versus fire as the cold-blooded Finns take on the down under group of New Zealanders. Both sides have started off strong and are fighting for great things this season. Expectations are therefore high that this will be one for the ages. Let's get to the action already!
And we kick off with a feisty showing from the Finnish side. They barely had time to practice after making the landing mere 20 hours before kick off, so they start off a bit slow and anxious. They pick things up fast, and to the delight of one crazy super fan that made this long trip with us, the Finns score first through a fantastic showcase of passing plays and great crosses. 18 minutes down and it's 1-0 to the visitors. (Round 1: -7)
As we approach closer to half time, this game is as close as it's expected to be. The visiting side started stronger but as the half has dragged on, the scorching New Zealand sun (yes, I had to look up how that adjective is supposed to be) is starting to hurt the frosty Finns. They can thank the lucky stars that the New Zealanders didn't quite show up to the first half since they barely squeak in another goal before the end of the half to go up 2-0 at the break. (Round 2: -3)
In a blunder move of craziness, the Finnish side got the time where they're supposed to continue play wrong and they showed up too early for kick off. For this crime against humanity, the referee has struck them with a penalty of giving up a goal to the opposition. Coach Imot is livid, but VAR is also suggesting that there was an actual goal scored, so the first penalty gets struck off the record books. This game is out of control. (Round 3: -2. Side note: really good round Justin, no way I was ever beating that one!)
With only about a quarter left in the game, this thriller could still go any which way. Can the Finns hold on? Or will this game end up finishing in a draw?

In a matchup of two sides desperate for a result, Burton Albion were finally able to get back into form in the first half of their late kickoff at Anfield. Liverpool were caught flatfooted on more than a couple occasions. Can the Brewers break the seal and pull off the victory? Stay tuned! R1: 62 R2: 63

Northampton Town,
-2 -5 E +7
Total E
awesome first half from the boys but fatigue and a boggy pitch took stopped Northampton playing there slick style of football, second half the opposition came out flying and Northampton couldnt handle the bombardment on there goal, overall a decent performance and much improved.
