18 holes, par 72, 7300+ yards. There are 4 tee sets that use the tee manipulation trick, so each tee corresponds with a pinset:
White - Pin 1 Red - Pin 2 Black - Pin 3 Blue - Pin 4
Took inspiration for this one from a couple British heathlands courses, namely St. Georges Hill and Sunningdale. I wanted the purple heather in full bloom look, similar to this:
A few pics of what to expect:

Well I shot 64 (29-35) so thankfully you mailed it in on the difficulty.
The routing is so good. Surprised at how simple you kept the planting but it actually works. The purple was meant to be the standout and you highlighted it by letting it speak for itself.
Par 5s were particularly fun. The greens are subtle. I hardly had a putt longer than 8 feet on the front nine (HA!) so I can't say whether those greens are good, but the back nine's were.
Group G is gonna be juicy.

As a person who has played some British heathland golf, this looks phenomenal. Can't wait to try this one out!
Blacktail Creek (DT 2024) - Team Matty (runners-up) The Hairy Lemon (collab with whodatmatt34) Old Kennebunk River (WCoD 2023) Jacquard Causeway (CC 2023) Elstead Heath GC Pequawket Basin GC (NT 2022, not good)
Don't think i have played an more enjoyable fictional course ever than this one, Love the look love the style My sort of lighting as well but to me the most important part how good was the golf and the setting just a fantastic course played so well. Also what i loved about this is the size and the positions of the bunkers just about perfect felt a couple might have been a bit clearer to see from the tee but overall if there was ever a course was designed for me to enjoy its this one Just stunning. I did play pin set 1 blue tee because i like to play the course before reading anything but it did not effect my enjoyment.

Really enjoyed the round Petty - kinda wish there was more heather, but didn't take away from a very well designed course. Nice work pal!

Same, same. Really wish there was a heather grass object that spread out further and closer to the ground that you can multiplant instead of having to bury trees and only show the tip top of them. I was in the high 90%'s on the meter already when I published and already worried about what kind of lag people might experience.
This is some low-key dope sh*t, bro. Props. Complete 180 from your DT course, but still very Petty. I don't have any comments about things I would have done differently. In fact... I think I am going to steal a couple of your ideas on my next course. Consider this post my "giving credit where it's due" post. Well done sir!
So damn pure. Loved every moment and a masterclass in sightlines and low-level sculpting. So immersive and for someone who gets a rep as not planting courses, this is beautiful.

Was half expecting another ancient civilisation inspired course here so really disappointed. Guess I'll just have to play a quality heathland track instead. Played this last night and echo the sentiments of others. 5-stars from me. Loved the lighting providing a very subdued colour palette very befitting of this type of course. Really immersive environment. The little pockets of purple heath off fairway and around bunkers provided enough pop of colour to keep the visual very interesting. The slightly brighter white sand (perhaps?) than usual on a course of this type also created a really good contrast. No one hole or holes stood out as favourites. Just a really cohesive design which "played real" which I love. Best of luck in the contest.

Another course to add in my short must play list of courses on a Sunday morning with a cup of coffee. Great design, loved everything about this track. GL in the contest Mr. Petty,,,

sroel908: And as someone who's rangered/scheduled hundreds of courses, trying out a wide range of conditions, I can say with certainty that green speeds do have an impact and definitely matter.

sroel908: Green firmness is more about how the ball interacts with the putting surface when you hit an approach into it. A soft green is more receptive, and will allow more backspin than a firm one. A firm green will have less bite and more rollout.

meunier33: I have seen 135 greens that putt like they are 170. Therefore, we can conclude that green speed does not matter.

meunier33: Why isn't there a green firmness meter on the score bug? Green firmness matters much more than green speed.

meunier33: I still play this game like it was the game before 2K21. Up until this month I have never tried to change anything about how I play the game. It has made me worse trying to adapt also.

OldManGaming606: The biggest swing adjustment and best for competitive golf IMO, was 2k21 and addition of tempo.

Art Vandelay: each time the game has been issued (TGC, TGC2, TGC19, etc) the game play changes. Some more than others. You have to adapt. Or go away, like some have.

Wutpa: I think a lot of people here have figured out what your problem is, and it's not what you think it is.

meunier33: EG the best swing used to be hard and low and not a high swing like it is now.

meunier33: Im finally figuring out what my problem is though. I play the game like it used to work 4 or 6 years ago and I have trouble adjusting to how it now plays

zooby97: Is that all meunier33 does is COMPLAIN? Will you please ditch the game so I don’t have to see the complaints anymore, wow!
