Does anybody know the actual formula for the one or two promotion marks? I checked the rules but it just says above the single or double promotion line, unless I'm missing something that's more detailed. When I look back week over week, it varies in terms of the # of people that get promo marks. Sitting 20th this morning (but with many people left to finish their rounds) just praying I hang on for a mark! Not sure about the exact formula, but it looks like top 10 earns 2 marks and next 10 guys earns 1 mark. Not exact every weeks, but very close Seems like it might be that simple. Likely better luck next week for me!

With the exception being those who make the cut (and have red marks) also get one red tick cleared, and those who miss the cut (and have promo marks) get one green tick taken away. Top 7.5% get double promo, bottom 7.5% get double demos. As someone else said, our field size usually ranging between 125~ and 150~ so it is close to around 10 singles, and 10 doubles every week on both ends of the spectrum. Last week we had 161 participants on elite, that led to 12 doubles and 12 singles on each end. This week we have 153, so it should be 11 doubles and 11 singles.

Good first 3 rounds, then mediocre final round. Went 62-61-63-68 to finish in the middle of the pack at -35. In the final round, I had trouble getting the ball close and then seemed to be putting defensively all round. Shame because after 3 rounds, I was likely in position to have a really good tournament.

Looking like I'll miss out by 1 stroke! Pain. Great shooting by those in the top 22. Onto the OG Club!

R3: -8, highlight was dropping the controller on a 9' Eagle putt... made the 8' birdie- bonus. R4: needed -12 for my last greenie, finished -10, with last 2 putts just short right in the mouth of the hole.
-36
from Cow Cup and playing Platinum events- I need to figure out this bead counting putting business (eyeballing doesn't work on the next level greens)... played around a bit this week with mixed results.

I missed out by 2 strokes on a promo last week and unfortunately bogeying the 18th in R2 looks to have been an expensive blunder here. I think a par there would have been good enough to avoid a demo. Ah well, onwards.
