jwtexan No complaints over here! I love this type of course and am really looking forward to it. Setting my bar at -10 a round. As of now, 44 of 91 are at -9 or better! I wouldn't be shocked to see the cut line creep up to -18 or -19, tougher R2 might affect that though. Will we see a wining score in the -60's this week?! 30 Putts R1 -7 31 Putts R2 -6 3 Missed greens over 36 holes. Let myself down bigtime on the greens. Tempo was a mess not leaving me good looks more often than not but still... 61 putts over 36 holes is just unacceptable. Burnt edges and lip outs all damn day. See y'all next week.

Wow, yeah what a huge difference. For reference I was 23 and 25 putts (8 missed greens!) for -10, -7... Can we combine our games?

Very sloppy R1 for me. Swing all over the place. Putting just average. Nonetheless stayed bogeyless and posted a -7. Will have to play a lot better in R2 if I'm gonna be around for the 'weekend'...(and not rely on flukey chip ins like the one I had in R1)...

Cut line currently sitting at -14, but Im guessing it is going to finish at -15. Frustrating as I should have easily made the cut this week but for some really poor 3 putts.

Jumped back in this week to see if I can get my 3rd greenie. Thinking I'll need to get around -38 for Top 20. threw away a few shots and had 4 lip outs in Rd 1 for a -9. Rd2- once I got over the initial WTF of 187s and pins in orange slopes- got hot and finished with another -9- for -18 at the cut.
for those cut watching, -15s are toast, -16s should hold on.

Half way through R2 and all I can say is....wtf is this. Sorry, but.... I mean...
That is all.
(Anyway, at least 7 birds required on the back 9 so I think I'm goosed)

Predicting a crazy low cut line this week... GLTA I think it will be about -16. Conditions are a little tougher round two, but this course has generous fairways and allows you to choose your own adventure and find the best angle of attack into the large greens. -16 it is. That ties our lowest score to make the cut for the season, so plenty of people found a way to score big out there. Congrats to those who made the weekend and survived the very fast greens in round 2. Lots of fun yellow slope three putts has me sitting home for the final two rounds. Good luck grinding it out everyone!

Yeah nah, wasnt digging this one I have to be honest. 187 on some of those pins was a bit much. I not a big fan of hitting decent shots into greens to within 12-15ft time and again and then worrying bout 3 putting time and again. The greens were a little insane in the membrane generally I thought. Oh well, looks like a first Elite demo for me.
Right I'm off to practice over in Windstone instead for the 'weekend'. Good luck for the rest of this one all!

Nice to see a made cut at -17! I finished up at -37 (62 65 62 62), holding out hope for a promo mark. The 187 greens in R2 got me, otherwise I could've been a few shots lower.

Officially on Series X now as of today. R2 was my first competitive round. Might take me a little time to get tempo down, but I can tell it's gonna be better (I think!). As for the designer, feel like I just stepped into a Ferrari. Planting a bush doesn't take 3 days anymore ha.

Well, I think I'll win it! 61-59-59-60 for a -49. I gotta say I've been lucky a little bit. I wasn't playing good golf for the past week prior to this tournament. On round 1, I was doing okay on first 9, -3 after 6, then bogey the 7th. I holed my approach on 8th, then chipped-in the 9th and 10th. I think I holed 8 or 9 shots from outside the greens in the whole tournament. That was a game changer to get my confidence back!

Does anybody know the actual formula for the one or two promotion marks? I checked the rules but it just says above the single or double promotion line, unless I'm missing something that's more detailed. When I look back week over week, it varies in terms of the # of people that get promo marks.
Sitting 20th this morning (but with many people left to finish their rounds) just praying I hang on for a mark!

Not sure about the exact formula, but it looks like top 10 earns 2 marks and next 10 guys earns 1 mark. Not exact every weeks, but very close
