do you have the heavy rough width slider at anything but 0? that waypoint is very close so if your heavy rough width is up it'd cover that spot

Well, that was a simple fix. I'm glad I asked.
Thanks for the quick response Thomas, that was exactly it. I actually had a really wide heavy rough setting, I didn't realize that would cause what I was seeing but that the cause for sure. I set that back to 0 and the scarring is as expected.
