Round 3 +1 Man U was knocking on the door at the start of the second half but couldn’t find the net and were hit on the counter and now find themselves behind with a quarter of the match to go,can the devils get their accustomed equaliser in the dying minutes?

After the Spurs bus breaking down at Seven Sisters the whole team had to walk to the ground after they had all nipped of for a quick pint in the White Hart and they took too the pitch quite sluggish but with a few lucky decisions going there way managed a few tap in goals for a -4. Half time in this one and time for a Jaffa orange and a swift talking too from Jose!
Round 2 -4

Buoyed by their first half result, and with a little extra juice from a halftime shot of espresso, The Azzurri are not content to sit back and defend. After earning a corner off a deflection in the 57th minute, it was bedlam in the streets of Cassino as Carcione redirects the inswinger from Gagliardo into the bottom right quadrant. Barring a complete and total collapse in the final 20, the Italian squad is sitting pretty after the first match day.
((R3: 65))

Methil Milan lived up to their soubriquet this week. With cries of Ole! Ole! Ole! echoing round the desolate stadium, Fife's finest continued in the same vein. The best round of the week saw a blemish-free 64 signed for including a -6 back nine. Nothing in the water and loads of tap-ins as the short game was close to it's best. I hoped that this football thing would focus me after weeks of missed cuts and general lack of enthusiasm for the game. Thanks to a worthy opponent Giraffe72 for the game and there is a pint of Tennants waiting for you in the director's lounge. Onward to some Premier League opposition next week.

Making their long-awaited debut in Pixel Golf Football, the Brewers made a statement with a solid first half of 63 and 66 respectively leading to a 2-0 advantage at the break. But as all BAFC supporters know, no lead is safe. This is even more true when you’re taking on a team of part-timers with nothing to lose. Look for the American manager to continue to remain aggressive in his tactics and to continue to advocate for the use of the long ball in the last 45. There also may or may not be more freshly-baked pies arriving behind the Herne Bay keeper.

Late in the 2nd half, after a few changes, Liverpool started to pay better, marginally. In the final minute, Ajax had relentlessly attacked the Liverpool goal, throwing everything at them, were awarded a corner. Even their keeper was standing just outside the 18 for what could be possibly the last kick of the game. In a surprise move, Dušan Tadić stepped up to take the corner. Was this a special set piece the manager was working on? The cross comes in, curling towards the edge of the box. Onana leaps high above the defence and heads the ball toward the goal. Alisson is outstretched, it looks like he might have this covered. But, alas, the ball just brushes his fingers as it heads to the back of the net. Ajax have clawed their way back to earn a point. (-4). Great game from both teams in a match that had everything. fransslabak

Thanks, crushtastic, on behalf of Erik ten Hag, I think I can safely say we all enjoyed that!!! Good luck in your next game and may we meet again in the latter stages of the competition. Best wishes Frans

Very kind of East Fife's honeybadger64 to let Coventry and Orlando Art Vandelay share their luxurious facilities to train for next week's big ties. As you can see we were treated to some wonderful facilities with the huge factory chimney belching out smoke an being an exceptional feature. Was like smoking 80 Benson's a day. City's new winger was put through his paces and showed great red (fast) hot speed. East Fife players were obviously the most comfortable in these surroundings and looked in best shape for the Week 2 matches. EDIT: Tempo seems to be sorted after recalibration. Think it was them dodgy Pirates Art Vandelay playing tricks.

Round 3 - E (72)
Tranmere after a very stern half time team talk came out with a bit more fire in their boots ... Their manager had literally put their boots on the radiators in the dressing room as it was absolutely baltic out on the pitch ... This kept the players on their toes, quite literally, and hadn't moved this fast since the 1st session of pre-season ... had finished and they were all running towards the club bar.
A decent start led to some good attacks and some good saves from Coventry's keeper who had finally woken up after falling asleep due to not having to do much in the first half. However it was Tranmere's experienced (old) centre half who made yet another mistake in this game and let Coventry through 1 on 1 with the keeper and they placed it away in the corner before the keeper had a chance to react.
After 70 mins
Coventry City 3 - 0 Tranmere Rovers

Manager Tough commented that is was a little tactic to hold onto the points they have picked up from watching Serie A on telly. 11 men behind the ball.

4th round -2 Going into the last 20-odd minutes Celtic knew the game was lost but were told by their manager to focus on little targets, win the tackles, work the keeper even get consolation goal. With time running out it was the opportunity to bring on fresh legs and hopefully take advantage as Orlando had took the foot off the gas. A wonderful bit of passing play featuring Forrest, Edouard and Christie seen the latter turn his man in the box and slot home the team's first goal of the tournament.

Rd 3 Even
For the first six minutes of the second half the Bay strikers were on the ball and threatening the Barton goal, but could only blast the ball over the goal into the crowd. After the brief attack it became a desperate attempt to stop another goal, not helped by the catering staff bringing out more freshly baked pies
