Although I still prefer #2 I think #1 is beginning to look a lot more unique

Still 2 but honestly you can’t go wrong with either one.

Clearly #1 is brilliant, the rocky, hilly, natural look with a tweak of autumn...as that is exactly what I went with in Design League R4. I came in 9th. Go with #2. LOL Seriously, trust your gut go with what you have more confidence in pulling off, both look 'worthy'.

Way more trademarks of Bergin than Jones (thankfully). Bergin is one of the best reno guys no one really talks about. He’s a good Twitter follow for pics and inspiration

I like #1 better but only because it reminds me of the Catskills where I grew up. They both look like they have lots of potential!

I like both of your ideas but if I had to pick... I'd go with 2. I haven't been force-fed enough ocean yet.

#1..... The dune-ish course look is so overplayed. WCOD you gotta do something special.

Most definitely no.1 for me. As Matt pointed out, wide open, minimal courses have been smashed over the past year.

I have to vote #1 just because you put the Revival bird’s nest in the picture 😉

Only real feedback I took here was Petty’s. Why have one environment, when you can have two? That being said, I did borrow a bit of the look from Wakanya for this meadow environment. This area will largely stay open and uncluttered as it is now. Above the par 3 12th (shown) you can see the 13th climbing up into the forest and the 17th coming back down into the meadow. Forest is very clearly incomplete but it’s all about transitions on this one.
