Hey all,
Does anybody have any good tips on building clubhouses? I haven't tracked the time I've spent attempting to make one and then deleting before trying over again. I want to shy away from just using one of the stock ones but my brain isn't being creative enough with the tools given. I've scoured the internet trying to find a tutorial but I haven't found anything worth while.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

This is a great question and I also struggle to come up with interesting clubhouses.
I think the “answer” is that you either have a natural eye for building things using a big pile of legos or (like me) you need to find a few good examples of what you want to build and then figure out how to reverse engineer that look.

A lot of people use the bigger buildings in the townhouse menu or sink some of the city buildings way done to create different clubhouses. You could also combine some of the clubhouses with suitable townhouse buildings and use stone bridges for sheltered areas or verandas.

Townhouses and shelters I find work really well but try everything! There's nothing off limits on the object menu but you have to experiment and see what fits. Maybe find a few real life club houses for inspiration see if you can build elements from those!

I suppose I should probably chime in. I'll echo what a couple of the other guys have said; it helps alot to start with an idea or inspiration. Find a clubhouse, or even a regular house or building, that you like that would fit in with the style of course and environment you're creating. Then you just gotta go in and play with all the objects and see what works.
I don't think you necessarily need to get super wild with adding together different buildings to get a unique look, though. I've often just used one or two base buildings and added balconies and patios using bridges, fences, and steps. The last thing I'd add is that the planting around it is just as important as everything else. Dress it up nice. Being pretty symmetrical with your planting can make it look really clean.
