I just submitted course didn't make it through review. Northern Nevada CC, I'm just looking for reviews in the fact I can improve my course to be approved for tour events. I'm not sure I haven't been able to send crazy Canuck direct message to ask what I can do to improve my course or courses become a better designer to have courses approved if crazy Canuck reads this please let me know what I could do better or different to make me a better designer and have courses approved I love designing courses I did not know about the auto-generated fairways and greens that you guys didn't like that now I know take a little more time but it'll be a little more fun for a pure design. I'm on Xbox 1my gamer tag is Ptizzle33, I've made several courses the Locust Hills courses I've made we're copies of course I grew up playing so they may want to play in there a copy of the real Locust Hills in Ohio they have two 18s please let me know what I could do to improve my course is anybody

Watch some of b101s latest course critiques on youtube. It's good to see things pointed out on even the best of courses with sculpting, strategy etc.

Seems you're seeking specifics, and nobody wants to give 'em, rather steer you towards videos. Well, I haven't watched anyone's design videos (although I like Canuck's course reviews), and have a good track record of acceptance, if not 'tour-worthy' on my efforts.
I played from the blacks, pin 1, and would be happy to go gently where they don't dare.
First, the golf itself was very playable with decent greens - that are nowhere near interesting or well-enough defended for tournament play. Same with most fairways. I didn't end up in any bunkers, but the ones I was close to were small and unsculpted, I saw a couple that may have been worked on, but they were not really a factor.
Almost every hole has something I would advise against or adjust : floating grandstands on #1, unnatural & unplanted pit on #2, elevated tee as seen from 6, etcetera.
If you choose cart path you have to sculpt it a whole lot flatter than you have. Flowery hillsides really need grass of some sort to look wild, mulch beneath if meant to be plantings. Grandstands should neither float nor have too much hilliness showing in front. I'd critique crowd placements, but I suck at that so leave them off most of my designs.
The dead tree area is too stark, I'd suggest undergrowth or at least grasses there. (I have a former burn area on my Long Lake course, hole #4, that I think came out nicely. There's also a couple of elevated tees on 8 & 12)
Well, I hope that helps more than it upsets you, but I'm a hands-on kind of trainer ... It has always turned out better for me.
