Doyley - I averaged the fields for last 4 weeks. Can we get the current tour players are on shown on the promo leaderboard? Depending on what you deem the ideal tour sizes, these are the 4 week averages: From the OP: TGCT Promotion Event #2 - Slots available (TBA) Ideal tour sizes: 145 for Platinum, Elite, Kinetic and 120 for all Challenge circuit flights Available slots will be determined after we finalize on Sunday, Jan 17th. Avg/ Ideal/ Available P - 129/ 145/ 16 E - 137/ 145/ 8 K - 116/ 145/ 29 ----------- A - 125/ 120/ -5 B - 133/ 120/ -13 C - 124/ 120/ -4 D - 125/ 120/ -5 E - 122/ 120/ -2 F - 120/ 120/ 0 G - 123/ 120/ -3 H - 123/ 120/ -3 I - 118/ 120/ 2 J - 122/ 120/ -2 K - 124/ 120/ -4 L - 117/ 120/ 3 That demographic would suggest there would be very few promotions available as CC is overstocked based on a tour size of 120 and promotions to Pro tours from CC would just clear the overstock leaving few opportunities to move within CC....or am I just not getting it?? |

I am assuming the original ideal tour sizes posted by Doyley on the OP (145 pro tours, 120 CC) are still the numbers that will be used. IF CC is bumped up to 125 or 130 ideal it will open up more possibilities for promotions.. |

Just a heads up, the hole-by-hole stats for the par-3's may not be accurate. There have been 12 hole-in-ones so far but then 106 eagles - on the 5 par-3's combined.

Note 1: Capped the promotions at 15-over par - had to shoot that or better to be eligible Note 2: 19 spots on CC-K and 35 on CC-L were not filled - these will be available via this week's Qualifying event

Pretty pleased I was able to move from CC-E to CC-C. Figured at most I'd only move to D. Good luck to everyone who got promoted to new tours!

We’re there not 16 platinum spots open? I noticed only a couple were promoted to that tour and thought maybe there would be that trickle down effect?

You can see that on the results spreadsheet in the Summary tab at the top on the right in dark grey. Shows the Ideal Tour size and actual tour size for the week just ending. Platinum had 153 complete last week's event so only 2 available slots.
The actual tour size for the CC flights takes into account the Qualifying cards being assigned - which tops up all flights if they are below 130.

I've just returned after not playing for 8 weeks and assumed I'd have to requalify for the tour.
However, I'm still appearing as CC-B on my profile, so am I still there?

Almost certain that's the case Leon, there are always a decent number of non-players each week and it's only performances that move you up and down. Reminds me of the answer the Secretary of the local Working Men's Club gave to a question about why they had over 2000 members and there were rarely more than half a dozen people in the place. He said it took a lot more than death to stop your membership there. |
