Just in the sake of full disclosure, while final numbers could change a little bit between now and 12/28, for anyone looking to enter who has not participated in any official TGCT contests over the last two seasons (2019 World Cup and on), you will likely need to have a MINIMUM of 8 courses on tour and/or 15+ tour worthy courses in order to be in the hunt for one of the 32 spots in the main field.
For those who have participated in contests the last two years, that number will be less as contest performance makes up 75% of the scoring formula used to determine the field, while overall TGC course portfolio makes up 25%.
Again, a smaller, side contest will be made available for those who do not get in the main field, but just want to be up front with newer designers looking to join. At this point, without participation in the last two years of contests and/or a substantial design portfolio, you're likely looking at a spot in the side contest.
