I hearby declare the construction window for the World Cup open! You have until 11:59 pm ET March 31, 2021 to submit your course (Opening date of the publish window TBA). * If you have already registered and are tagged above, you may begin construction of your course. * If you have not already registered, you may still do so until Dec. 28, however, you cannot begin construction until you are registered. At present, we have 50 contestants for 32 spots. Obviously not everyone is going to get in, though it's too early to tell who's in yet because 1) people still have two weeks to enter and 2) I will be updating the TGCT database numbers of each contestant after the Dec. 28 registration deadline, which could affect the rankings. The question has been posed about what to do if it doesn't look like you will get in the field of 32, or could be one of the alternates. Based on the interest of those not making the main field, I want to run a side, 9-hole contest that would be judged by volunteers within the qualifying field of 32. The reward would be a spot in the 2022 World Cup to the winner. Full details would be announced following our selection show Dec. 31. Good luck, and have fun! Oh Baby, YES! |
