Season 12, week 5
The Swarm keeps on swarming with the big wins of the week, this week dispatching Designated Drivers into a 18-6 loss. The team seems unstoppable right now, with contributors of different kind popping up every week. This week, the 4 pointers go to Taylor and Warncke.
Next up the newly christened 1000/1 Outsiders can probably consider removing one zero off that number again, beating Beer Wings and Swings 17.5-6.5. Very good team effort all around, with a single 4 pointer going to Miotla.
Dude, Where's My Par party all over The Wild Aces 16-8 and continue their search for the illustrious par. They're also looking for the 4 pointers since there doesn't seem to be any despite such a big win.
The Wuhan Warriors utilize their warrior spirit to hop over the Snowboarding Carpenters by a score of 13.5-10.5. I suppose it's never been quite as easy for them so far this season despite recording 4 wins out of 5, but a 4 pointer from Murray makes it easier on them.
And finally, the dinner party between Wine and Dine and Putt Pirates ends all civil like with the Diners sneaking a 13-11 win. Close effort here but a 4 pointer from Schneider could have possibly been the difference maker.

Season 12, week 6
This week sees no massive wins like most previous weeks have, as evidenced by the fact that the scoreline of 14.5-9.5 was the big one, courtesy of 1000/1 Outsiders over Snowboarding Carpenters. It also sees a minimal number of 4 point scorers, as Gilmore from the winning side is the one.
Designated Drivers are finding the right direction again, taking care of The Wuhan Warriors 14-10. Good showing from the top end of pools on one side for the winners, meanwhile a good one on the other side of pools for the unfortunate casualties. No 4 pointers though.
Another 14-10 score sees The Wild Aces handle Putt Pirates. They can't catch a break this season, another week goes down the ocean. Lauzé leads the way for the Aces with the 4 pointer.
Dude, Where's My Par? keeps looking for it and this week manages to down Beer Wings and Swings 13.5-10.5. Sneaky close match with not a lot of point swings between participants, except for the big one with Oakey hitting 4.
And then in the big one of the week going into the week, it sure ends up that way as Wine and Dine battles The Swarm into a 12-12 tie, taking home the patented "technical tiebreaker" of 310 under par to 307. Or maybe you could consider Ruhl's 4 for the Dine to be one? Hmm.

Season 12, week 7
2 same scores for the big win of the week but giving top billing to the team that hasn't been here yet. Putt Pirates finally pick up the first win of this season, handing the loss to Beer Swings and Swings by a score of 18-6 in a battle of 9 versus 10. Hynönen and Branca got their hands on 4 pointers but a very good team effort overall.
In less surprising news this season, The Swarm wins again, this week taking care of The Wild Aces 18-6. No stopping these guys and with 2 weeks left, can they be stopped? In the meantime, no stopping Taylor and Loft who scored 4 points.
16-8 is the next score to go through as Snowboarding Carpenters hand a losing ticket to Designated Drivers. That mid pack battle will be interesting going down the wire! This week, Warburton leads the way for his team with his 4 points.
The Wuhan Warriors spoil the dinner of Wine and Dine by a score of 13.5-10.5, clawing back some of the gap to make the battle for some tee positions also intriguing. No 4s here but a 3.5 and a couple 3s will also do for them.
And in the closest one that still did have a winner, 1000/1 Outsiders used those odds to narrowly get a return for their money by knocking off Dude, Where's My Par? 12.5-11.5. They lost the total shot count by 9 strokes, yet walk away winners this week!

Season 12, week 8
Onto recapping the penultimate week of the dozen-th season and we begin with a quite familiar area of a scoreline for big win of a week... 18-6 by The Wuhan Warriors over The Wild Aces. Big surprise here is that despite such a lopsided win, no 4 point gatherers here! Although the Warriors do solidify a position to fight for tees going into the final week with this.
The Putt Pirates took their first win of this season last week and that good feeling rolls into this week as the 1000/1 Outsiders are pushed outside by a 15.5-8.5 scoreline. No 4 point scorers for individuals here, but quite the blow for the Outsiders who are now looking at the tee fight more from the outside.
Wine and Dine are designating a position into the final week tee battle with a win over Designated Drivers by a score of 15-9. Rarely does it take until the 3rd match recap to finally find a full point scorer but here it is: Ruhl with the 4 points.
Next up is another candidate for tees as Dude, Where's My Par? is next looking for the color of a potential tee, downing the Snowboarding Carpenters 14.5-9.5. Once again, no additions to the 4 point club here but more solidifying for position going into the new week.
And the closest dog fight is the surprising one: bottom ranked team heading into the week knocks down the top ranked one as Beer Wings and Swings throw a spanner with a 12.5-11.5 win over The Swarm. Tagariello with a team leading 4 pointer could have been the one to win it, who knows. A slight knock for the leaders, how will this look next week?
