Greetings TBC, A true emergency has sent the dog out for the week. Paul Harveydog500 needs this week for some business AFK. Stepping in will be Nate On3PmpWond3r. Going off there recent TGCT scoring, Nate will carry a +2 per round handicap this week to include -2 in OFTR. Bear mbuengerOnward! In regards to the Speedway HCP, we will take Nates score as Pauls for the week so that his pair are not disadvantaged |

Good morning / afternoon / evening peeps. Firstly, thank you to the admins for letting me do this, I hope it a nice little side game along with the usual TBC Season which will work well and just mean something different to play. Welcome to Season 1 of  Welcome TBC Speedway Golf …. Drive … then drink
Quick breakdown of what it actually means - All 32 regular season TBC pixel golfers have been split into 16 teams of 2 for a mini handicap side league
- People will be split into 2 groups, the lowest 16 averages from last season will be Group 1, the next 16 averages will be Group 2
- i.e. if you played all 28 rounds and shot -280 in total, your starting handicap will be -10 per round.
- No extra rounds will be required, as scores are taken from the usual TBC rounds
- Random team pairings will be drawn, 1 from Group 1 and 1 from Group 2
- Your combined HCP will be your pairs handicap for the week
- You will play against 3 other pairs each week for 5 weeks, so against all 15 after 5 weeks
- Handicaps will change weekly, it is worked out by
| Total score from last season and this season | | Total number of rounds from last season and this season |
For each week’s race, your match HCP will be calculated by 75% of the difference between your Teams HCP and the best Team HCP in your race.
Example
- Team 1 HCP -20 As they have the best HCP, start at E
- Team 2 HCP -16 Difference is -4, 4 rounds = -16, 75% of 16 = -12
- Team 3 HCP -12 Difference is -8, 4 rounds = -32, 75% of 16 = -24
- Team 4 HCP -10 Difference is -10, 4 rounds = -40, 75% of 16 = -30
Therefore the starting scores / advantage for that race
- Team 1 → E
- Team 2 → -12
- Team 3 → -24
- Team 4 → -30
Each week the pairing with the lowest combined score plus their handicap will win. 1st place in each race gets 5 points, 2nd - 3pts, 3rd - 2pts, 4th - 1pt
After 5 weeks the top 8 go to the semi finals and bottom 8 go to the last chance saloon Best 2 from each semi-final and from the last chance saloon will make the final, the 2 pairs from the saloon have a 3 shot disadvantage in the final as well. Best score wins and becomes the TBC Ultimate Pair A bit more in depth about the rules can be found on the spreadsheet if you want some light reading before bedtime to put you all to sleep The 2 groups are as below | Group 1 | Group 2 | Ross Nixon

Do we use all four rounds and who do we report scores to Yes, I will take your 4 round total and add those scores in. As no more rounds need to be played, apart from your usual CC rounds you report to Art, I will take the scores from the TBC Season 7 spreadsheet myself, so no extra work for you guys or for Art Thanks for this Paul, it sounds like great fun. Quick question. I understand that all 4 rounds each week will be used for handicap adjustment, but since we only have 3 sets of opponents each week is it rounds 1-3 that are used for the results? |

I imagine it’s all four rounds combined team scoring, Nigel Yes, your combined team score for the 4 rounds will be used Your teams personal handicap is per round, then 75% of the difference between your team and the best teams HCP in each of your weeks matchup multiplied by 4 for all 4 rounds, is your stating advantage per week. You compete against all 3 opponents at the same time to come 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th per week |
