Art VandelayI think I would rather have 198 greens rather than the slow ones this week. I could not putt for anything, well on my way to being cut. Off to the putting greens I go....

You see I’m the opposite I would rather have slow greens than fast but it’s the way I putt I’m always firm with my putting instead of letting them die at the hole. |

CCArt Vandelay  Yeah not a fan of slow greens in the CHALLENGE circuit. Silly. Only challenge was to keep interested knowing I can't keep up with the -15 crowd. I failed. lol. Sorry team. Wasn't my week to perform I guess. Give me tough conditions every week please. OFTR. I quit out on the 11'th on Sunday at +7. My entire golf day I just wasn't feeling it. Will finish my OFTR round tomorrow. Going driving/racing for the next little while today. More fun lol

You see I’m the opposite I would rather have slow greens than fast but it’s the way I putt I’m always firm with my putting instead of letting them die at the hole. Personally, I’d rather putt on 186 every single round. It just cuts through the break easier. Slow greens just mess me up. |

Slow greens just mess me up. 134 is my ideal green speed I can hit the ball at the hole with confidence rather than just tickling it. 186 green speeds have never played great in this game in my opinion that’s why HB gave you the funny golf balls to slow them down. |

Pub Crawl at Hillsborough Mining Club: Rounds 1 & 2.  A decent start, although the low scoring across the board is an indicator that the course is not insanely difficult. No complaints about that from me though, and the sub-60 round in R1 was most pleasing, as it feels like an age since I last managed that. R2 conditions and tees were a little tighter, but I was also starting to tire and my shots were becoming more wayward again by the final 6 holes, especially those pesky irons. I scraped home with a 63 and that's me bogey-free for the first 36 holes, although if I'd carried on into R3 I have no doubt my decaying tempo would have placed me squarely in Bogeyville. Now, if I can maintain that for the next 36 holes then I might just be in the frame for an ever-elusive promo mark. Please, oh please!  Art Vandelay |

Everybody has their preference. I just wish they never had magic balls to begin with and the default ball was somewhere in the middle of those magic balls and not were it currently sits. |

Art Vandelay Week 3 round 3 score: -3 Week 3 round 4 scorecard:  A HUGE apology to my team mates for this weeks performance. I tried my best to find some motivation and concentration to play this course and these setting, but alas - I struggled and failed miserably. I hope the OFTR I will do better and I can always hope for next week. Onwards Arturo.
