The TGC Tours site said they will be posting the schedule shortly. I hope they give CC some decent courses. The schedule is up on the site now. Yes, and nice to see a Brew Crew member and a teammate ( The Cupid Stunts) has one of his courses to open up the CC schedule! Way to go Chuck!

Welcome welcome, here we go again. Season 5 of the TBC starts on Sunday. There are no majors this season so will be running straight through from week 1-7 without any breaks. Most are old hands here so we know how the season works but for our newer members, here is a little run down. Each week consists of: Pub Crawl - 4 rounds played on the TGC CC circuit. 4th round scorecard required for matchplay purposes. Round 1 and 2 need to be played as per the TGC Cut, with the remaining played by the end of the event. One for the Road (OFTR) - 1 round in the TBC society. Scorecard required for modified stableford. Can be played anytime throughout the week. Scores for CC players can be pulled from the TGC database but for involvement but more importantly to help Art out, please post on the forum with Art tagged. ‘Posh’ boys, ie Plat, Elite, Kinetic, end of week round by round scores will need to be posted along with the scorecards as above. Life can be a pain in the ass at the best of times, so we fully appreciate extensions or subs maybe required throughout the season. These will nearly always be given as long as it is communicated with Art in a timely fashion. For anyone not on the main roster this season, please feel free to post scores etc, helps massively when a sub is needed and we can work out the correct handicap to be used. Knockouts, info will be posted separately but will also be starting week 1. Single round matchplay found in the TBC Knockout society. I’ve probably missed something really important but any issues admins are always on hand but would like to give a warm welcome to mbuenger who has joined the admin team to take over the weekly recaps. Here’s to another great season. Happy Golfing TBC

My card for this week. Love this course. I am excited by the new coming season, hopefully with many great courses to be discovered and great competition to come with fellow brewers

lessangsterClubbage for your survey..... I play Rhythm. Driver you can see. Thanks Trevor I just find it interesting what fittings and how people have set them up. Im currently trying to get a built more length on the driver with the rhythm archetype but I think I’ve taken it as far as I can. Might be time to try another archetype, either greens-man or woodsman. I toyed with the idea of using powerhouse for the basic length of the tee then fitting all timing to see how much distance it takes off. My irons all have 100+ for timing and swing plane but I still miss my fair share of greens, my max distance for a 4 iron is around about 197 yds. I noticed you and Art have your drivers up to 300 yds.

I noticed you and Art have your drivers up to 300 yds. I play Rhythm archetype and I gradually introduced more power fittings with a bit of tempo / plane penalty but only with the driver. I try not to fiddle too much with it when I hit the driver (as in adding loft / spin), as this penalises me even more. Will do it occasionally to carry bunkers / water etc. Suits me but still hit wild ones now and again.
