My favourite course after reading The Match it’s a book about the day the top two amateurs of the day Ken Venturi & Harvey Ward took on two of the top professionals of the day Byron Nelson & Ben Hogan the greatest player of his generation in my opinion so good I named one of my courses after him. Yes Cypress has a few dodgy pins but they’re the same for both golfers. Good luck guys. |

Thank you guys for showing me your club settings I concentrated on getting my tempo as high as possible because I’m on Xbox and it’s sh%$ tempo that affected my distance my driver was 279 yds. Seeing you guys with tempo figures around about the 70 to 80 figure got me to switch to powerhouse archetype I’ve tried a few rounds with it and with little to no discernible effect on accuracy I’m going to try it for a spell. Driver is now at 299 yds with corresponding increases on the other clubs. Change to the Razer controller and the female golf swing has helped my game more than trying too get 100% tempo and swing plane. Let’s see how long I can stay on the posh tours with this setup. Im still refining my fittings so things might change as the season progresses depending on the quality of fittings gained. 😊

Was interesting seeing everyone's. Just from a quick glance I think I have a fairly similar driver distance to most (290). My strategy in all of these games has always been go as long as possible with the driver and as short as possible with lob wedge and then fill in gaps so you have as much control as possible on the short irons and wedges. I play rhythm archetype as well. A little tempted to try powerhouse or even sculptor now I'm on the razer but I've been playing pretty well recently so a tad reluctant to switch it up too much. |
