Im wanting to do a little survey on average driver distance before skills add more distance to them, this is my default driver distance along with my 3 wood and 5 wood. I seem to struggle on the longer courses or courses with 210+ par 3’s I’m also using Rhythm archetype I just wondered what others are using and their default driver distance. I don’t like the hybrids.  With a Razer you can switch to Powerhouse with virtually no penalty in swing plane/ tempo. |

I might be sounding like a newb here, but what is the difference between timing and transition? I guess I have focused solely on timing.

I always think of timing as the whole swing whereas transition is really just that small window when your backswing finishes and you start your downswing. I put all my fittings maxed out in timing and swing path. |

I might be sounding like a newb here, but what is the difference between timing and transition? I guess I have focused solely on timing. I always think of timing as the whole swing whereas transition is really just that small window when your backswing finishes and you start your downswing. I put all my fittings maxed out in timing and swing path. Oh so if you have more stats in transition you can get to 102% or higher more easily? I have noticed i get stuck on 98% quite a bit, might be a me thing but would transition give me a bigger window to hit 100? |

Yeah I’ve noticed that Peter I’ve switched a couple of times to powerhouse with just a marginal hit on accuracy. My biggest change on accuracy is changing to a female avatar. I’ve always struggled with the male avatars iron swing it feels to short for me and I always felt it was a bit rushed. The female avatars swing is longer and it gives me a slightly different timing my proximity to the hole has improved by a lot and so my putting stats have gone up as well. |

I don’t like the hybrids. Here's what I've got with the same archetype... been like this forever and could still tweak a bit but this has worked for me quite well.   I’ve just gained a new fitting that increases my driver carry by 7 yards to around the 290 mark but it hits my tempo down to about 75 I need to try it out before the season starts to see if it affects my FIR by much. The way I see it the fairway is generally a larger target than a green so it should be ok. Im thinking of redoing my skills so I can add a hybrid if I want to but really can’t see the advantage of the hybrids over the three iron except for distance. |

I think I read somewhere that timing was to minimize push / pull effect (or slow / fast), when transition was your ability to hit partial shot (the higher the more accurate you would be with partial) |
