Whoops sorry guys I didn't realise we were posting the off season scores. My bad. Too distracted by Ben's employers accomodation 😍 Looking forward to playing Pebble this week. Do any of you guys stream your rounds at all? I quite liking chilling out on twitch but a lot of the people I follow have since stopped streaming PGA... I gave up streaming do to my time zone. Was fun while it lasted ! |

Pebble Beach. After my cosmically massive suckage last week, I used this week to experiment and see if I could play 4 rounds with diminished suckularity. The answer, my friend, is blowing in my wind.  Some stability showed in R1, and then in R2 I got off to a flyer and was -7 after the first 8 holes. Wow! But the tide goes out as well as in, and when it goes it can leave behind some really stinky things. That was my final 4 holes, where I dropped 3 shots. I went and calibrated before starting R3, and then just tried to slam my way around swinging at the same speed and in the same manner I had in calibration, to see if it changed the Suck Quotient. And it did! Except when it didn't. On to R4 then, trying the same method, but this time I went full Jekyll & Hyde, getting a double bogey and immediately following it with an eagle, spending quality time in as many bunkers as I could wriggle into, and so on. And what have I learned from all this? Nothing useful, except that The Suckage will find you whenever it needs to, whether you are expecting it or not. Art Vandelay |

What a difference a day makes 😖. Played the first 2 rounds yesterday and the last 2 today. Anyone say choke  Not a big fan of the slower greens, but no excuses. Maybe saving my best for the team next week 🤔 🤞. Anyway AsYouBrew 4ever 🍻 Art Vandelay  |

Art Vandelay Last 2 rounds Was 3 over after 10 on 4th round so backed out and did a bit later on today, was able to make some ground and at least come under par  Back to : Painting and Wallpapering

Im wanting to do a little survey on average driver distance before skills add more distance to them, this is my default driver distance along with my 3 wood and 5 wood. I seem to struggle on the longer courses or courses with 210+ par 3’s I’m also using Rhythm archetype I just wondered what others are using and their default driver distance. I don’t like the hybrids.  |

Hey Les, here is my distance, in meter. I am using powerhouse archetype. With these distances, I am usually able to be in 2 on the green of the par 5, assuming I am not messing my drive or my second shot

I'll raise, or is it lower that 284 with a 279  As you can see its the fitting of 65 power that is killing my distance. Rhythm as well. I don't care about that extra distance if I can't keep it on the fairway so have fitted for tempo and rhythm. I'd like to reroll my fittings and work for a better swing plane but I rarely play this game anymore (today was the 1'st time I loaded it up since last week, and last week was just to ranger the Jesus out of a course for OFTR) and to gather 3 reds would take forever. |
